¿Qué buscan a Dios de nosotros? La historia de un mesías

| ¿Estamos realmente dispuestos a hacer cualquier cosa para Dios? Listo para ser como esta oveja que se ha subido a la Kjeragbolten en Noruega ? |
La primera vez que narraba esta historia fue en presencia de Swami en el 29 de julio 2005 sigo narrando esta historia muchas veces.. Y es que para seguir recordando a mí mismo más que nadie de lo que Swami quiere de mí.
Sin más preámbulos, aquí está esa historia.
Un mesías que quería retirarse
Había un mesías que vivía en un pueblo. Fue una tremenda fuente de ayuda e inspiración para los aldeanos que buscaban su consejo sabio para casi todos los problemas. Buscó nada a sí mismo y desinteresadamente dio de sí mismo a la gente, cada vez que lo necesitaban. Todo parecía ir bien cuando, de la nada, el Mesías hizo una sorprendente revelación.
"Estoy listo para anunciar mi retiro ahora", dijo para gran sorpresa de todos los habitantes del pueblo se reunieron, "me he estado preparando para este momento y en última instancia, se ha llegado. "
"¡No! No puedes hacer esto. Por favor, no nos deja ... "
"¿Qué vamos a hacer sin ti? Quién vamos a acudir en busca de auxilio y consuelo? "
"¿Cómo puede retirarse un mesías? ¿Qué quieres decir? "
"¿Por qué quiere retirarse? ¿Tenemos que fallamos o decepcionados de alguna manera? "
El mesías sonrió dentro de sí mismo. Como de costumbre, los hombres hicieron sus propias suposiciones y teorías audaces. Las hipótesis pueden variar en la naturaleza y alcance, pero todos ellos están teñidas en diferentes grados de egoísmo. Todo el mundo le quería quedarse por razones que significaba mucho para ellos - no él directamente
"Cada persona en cada ocupación disfruta de una jubilación. Yo sólo estoy buscando la mía! ¿Es que no lo suficientemente justo? ", Preguntó el mesías con una sonrisa.
Eso fue un argumento que nadie podía refutar. Pero aún así, ¿cómo podrían vivir sin los servicios de su mesías? En cuanto a la situación de manera objetiva, las personas se dieron cuenta de que sus problemas internos podrían ser resueltos a través de discusiones con los demás. Asesoramiento financiero podría buscar de algún prestamista que todavía tenían escrúpulos fueron. Cuestiones de salud se podrían tomar con un médico. Pero ¿qué pasa con los asuntos relacionados con el espíritu? Espiritualidad, aunque muy "importante", nunca es "urgente" y por lo tanto se descuida hasta tiempos como estos. Ahora que el Mesías estaba a punto de retirarse, la espiritualidad parecía ganar urgencia también junto con importancia.
Y así, todos le rogó,
"¿Cómo vamos a permanecer en contacto con Dios si se jubila?"
"Por favor, si tiene que retirarse, a continuación, asegurar que vamos a estar en contacto con Dios, de alguna manera, al menos. "
"Cuéntanos lo que debemos hacer para que Dios es feliz con nosotros siempre ..."
"¡Sí! Cuéntanos lo único 'más importante' que Dios quiere que hagamos ... "
"¡Sí! ¡Sí! Dinos que "una cosa" que Dios quiere de nosotros ", todos a coro.
El mesías sonrió de nuevo. Si sólo la gente le habían acercado con este sentimiento e intensidad antes, cada cosa que había dicho que podría haber servido como el potencial 'una cosa'! Sin embargo, la gente parece darse cuenta del valor de algo sólo cuando están a punto de perderla o, peor aún, cuando ya han perdido. Por lo tanto, esta reacción no era en absoluto sorprendente. Con todo amor, dijo,
"voy a averiguar lo que" una cosa "que Dios quiere de ti es. Y entonces, me retiraré. "
Las preocupaciones de las personas fueron apaciguados hasta cierto punto. El algo por lo menos tenía que esperar ahora.

| El Mesías regresa con la simple orden de Dios. Pero son las personas dispuestas a escuchar? |
De acuerdo con su promesa, el Mesías fue a buscar el mensaje del Señor. En tiempo de un día, volvió de las montañas colindantes. Mientras caminaba por las calles del pueblo, todos los habitantes del pueblo se reunieron en torno a él. Ellos sabían a ciencia cierta que había captado el mensaje de Dios. Esa una cosa "que Dios quería que la mayoría de ellos ahora se revelaría.
A pesar de que todo el pueblo se había reunido en torno a él, hubo un silencio perfecto. ¿No se ha dicho que es sólo en las profundidades del silencio que la voz de Dios se escucha?Silencio Física fue el primer paso para un verdadero silencio. Nadie quiso perderse el gran secreto que iba a ser revelada.
"Estoy listo para revelar el mensaje de Dios. Pero, ¿estás dispuesto a escuchar y seguir? "
La primera frase del mesías rompió el silencio. Había un montón de murmullo y la charla entre el pueblo reunido. Pequeños grupos comenzaron a discutir entre ellos. Pronto, algunos hombres y mujeres dieron un paso adelante para hablar.Cada uno de ellos tenía algo que decir.
"Si es algo que Dios quiere que hagamos, estamos listos para cualquier cosa."
"Incluso si eso significa sacrificar todas nuestras comodidades y pasando por un gran sufrimiento, estamos dispuestos a hacer por Dios amor ".
"Si se nos dice que colgar boca abajo por nuestros dedos de los pies, estamos listos. Si tenemos que cegarnos, estamos listos. Si tenemos que matar estamos listos ... Estamos listos para cualquier cosa ... "
"¡Sí! Estamos dispuestos a derramar lágrimas toda nuestra vida. Cualquier dolor, traeremos. Por favor, díganos qué es lo que Dios quiere que hagamos. "
"Hablando es fácil mi querido pueblo", dijo el Mesías ", pero cuando se trata de practicar, espero que su entusiasmo y energía no esfumarse de distancia."
"¡No! Sólo nos dan una oportunidad! Vamos a hacer nada ".
"No sólo estamos dispuestos a sacrificar, vamos a hacer que otros se sacrifican también. Vamos a renunciar a nuestros propios padres, esposos, esposas, hijos, amigos y familiares es necesario. "
"Cualquier cosa! Estamos dispuestos a hacer cualquier cosa. Por favor, háganos saber lo que Dios quiere que hagamos. "
El mesías respiró hondo. Y esa respiración se oía a través de la reunión para todo el mundo estaba en silencio, esperando con una gran expectación. Luego sonrió porque la respuesta era tan simple y directo.Él de hecho había revelado el mismo a lo largo de su mesías día 'carrera' y nadie había pagado tal atención. Su retiro parecía haber centrado toda persona al quid de toda espiritualidad.
"Escucha, oh gente a la solicitud de Dios. Esta es la única cosa que Dios quiere que hagas para que usted permanezca en contacto con la Divinidad siempre. "
El silencio era ensordecedor ahora. Todos los oídos fueron entrenados por completo en lo que el Mesías iba a decir.
"Dios quiere que seas feliz por él."
Permitir que unos momentos para que la declaración a hundirse en el mesías continuó,
"Dios no quiere que sus lágrimas y dolores para él. Él no quiere que sus sacrificios y sufrimiento para Él.Tampoco quiero que ser colgado boca abajo o lucha para agradarle. Él sólo quiere que seas feliz por él ".

| La única cosa que Swami quiere que seamos es - FELIZ! Nos ayudaría recordar que la verdadera felicidad no viene sino en unión con Dios. |
Reflexiones finales
Todos estamos dispuestos a pino por los perdidos, llorar por el Señor, sufrir por el Señor y soportar el dolor por el Señor. Pero ¿estamos preparados para ser feliz para el Señor? Nuestro objetivo en la vida es ser feliz y que es nuestro esfuerzo constante. Dios quiere que seamos felices siempre. Entonces, ¿dónde está el problema. Ese es un punto a reflexionar; algunos elementos de reflexión.
¿Es que no lo Swami concluyó su mayoría sus discursos? Una muestra se presenta a continuación:"Siempre ser feliz, sonriente y amorosa. Cuando usted está sonriendo, el amor se desarrollará de forma automática en ti. Hay, por supuesto, algunas personas que van a poner una cara "aceite de ricino". Usted debe ser siempre sonriente y alegre. Dios siempre está feliz. Él no se preocupa en absoluto de nada. La tristeza y la preocupación están muy lejos de Dios. Siempre ser feliz y en paz. Vivir como miembros de una misma familia con amor y afecto. ¿Todavía no se carguen por mezquinas dificultades y sufrimiento. No le dé alcance a cualquier preocupación. Incluso si su esposa o hijos sufren de una enfermedad, no te perturbado. Volver a sus lugares con la fe firme de que todo va a resultar bien. Lleva una vida feliz y pacífica ".

Lo que Dios busca es algo muy sencillo. O es eso? Ese es el tema de mis pensamientos mientras me tomo mi taza de té recién hecho ...

The first time I narrated this story was in Swami's presence on the 29th of July, 2005. I keep narrating this story many times. And that is to keep reminding myself more than anybody else of what Swami wants from me. Without further ado, here is that story. A messiah who wanted to retire There was this messiah who lived in a village. He was a tremendous source of help and inspiration for the villagers who sought his wise counsel for almost every problem. He sought nothing himself and selflessly gave of himself to the people, whenever they needed him. Everything seemed to be going well when, out of the blue, the Messiah made a startling revelation. "I am ready to announce my retirement now," he said much to the shock of all the assembled villagers, "I have been preparing for this moment and ultimately, it has arrived." "No! You cannot do this. Please do not leave us..." "What will we do without you? Whom shall we turn to for succour and solace?" "How can a messiah retire? What do you mean!" "Why do you want to retire? Have we failed you or disappointed you in any way?" The messiah smiled within himself. As usual, men made their own audacious assumptions and theories. The assumptions may vary in nature and scope, but they all are tinged to varying degrees with selfishness. Everyone wanted him to stay for reasons that meant a lot to them - not him directly! "Every person in every occupation enjoys a retirement. I am only seeking mine! Is that not fair enough?" asked the messiah with a smile. That was an argument that none could refute. But still, how could they live without the services of their messiah? Looking at the whole situation objectively, the people realized that their domestic problems could be solved through discussions with each other. Financial advice could be sought from some money-lender who still had scruples left. Health matters could be taken up with a doctor. But what about matters relating to the spirit? Spirituality, though very 'important', is never 'urgent' and thus gets neglected till times such as these. Now that the messiah was about to retire, spirituality seemed to gain urgency too along with importance. And so, they all pleaded with him, "How will we remain in touch with God if you retire?" "Please, if you must retire, then ensure that we will be in touch with God in some way at least." "Tell us what we must do so that God is happy with us always..." "Yes! Tell us the one 'most important' thing that God wants us to do..." "Yes! Yes! Tell us that 'one thing' which God wants from us", everyone chorused. The messiah smiled to himself again. If only the people had approached him with this feeling and intensity before, each and every thing that he had said could have served as the potential 'one thing'! However, people seem to realize the value of something only when they are about to lose it or, worse, when they have already lost it. So, this reaction was not at all surprising. With all love he said, "I shall find out what that 'one thing' which God wants from you is. And then, I'll retire." The worries of the people were mollified to a certain extent. The at least had something to look forward to now.
As per his promise, the messiah went to get the message of the Lord. In a day's time, he returned from the adjoining mountains. As he walked the streets of the village, all the villagers gathered around him. They knew for sure that he had got the message from God. That 'one thing' which God wanted most from them would now be revealed. Even though the whole village had gathered around him, there was perfect silence. Has it not been said that it is only in the depths of silence that the voice of God can be heard? Physical silence was the first step for true silence. Nobody wanted to miss the great secret that was going to be revealed. "I am ready to reveal God's message. But are you ready to listen and follow?" The first sentence from the messiah broke the silence. There was a lot of murmur and chatter among the gathered people. Small groups began to discuss among themselves. Soon, a few men and women stepped forward to speak. Each of them had something to say. "If it is something that God wants us to do, we are ready for anything." "Even if it means sacrificing all our comforts and going through great suffering, we are ready to do it for God's sake." "If we are told to hang upside down by our toes, we are ready. If we have to blind ourselves, we are ready. If we have to kill we are ready... We are ready for anything..." "Yes! We are ready to shed tears all our life. Any pain, we shall bear. Please tell us what is it that God wants us to do." "Speaking is easy my dear people", said the messiah, "but when it comes to practice, I hope your enthusiasm and energy does not fizzle away." "No! Just give us a try! We will do anything." "Not only are we ready to sacrifice, we shall make others sacrifice as well. We will give up our own parents, husbands, wives, children, friends and relatives is need be." "Anything! We are ready to do just anything. Please let us know what God wants us to do." The messiah took a deep breath. And that breath could be heard through the gathering for everyone was silent, waiting with a bated breath. He then smiled because the answer was so simple and straight. He had in fact revealed the same all through his messiah 'career' days and nobody had paid such attention. His retirement seemed to have focused everyone to the crux of all spirituality. "Listen oh people to the request from God. This is the one thing that God wants you to do so that you remain in touch with the Divine always." The silence was deafening now. All the ears were trained completely on what the messiah was about to say. "God wants you to be HAPPY for him." Allowing a few moments for that statement to sink in, the messiah continued, "God does not want your tears and pains for Him. He does not want your sacrifices and suffering for Him. Nor does he want you to be hung upside down or struggle to please Him. He just wants you to be Happy for Him."
Concluding thoughts We are all prepared to pine for the lost, cry for the Lord, suffer for the Lord and endure pain for the Lord. But are we ready to be happy for the Lord? Our objective in life is to be happy and that is our constant endeavour. God wants us to be happy always. Then, where is the problem. That is a point to ponder; some food for thought. Is that not how Swami mostly concluded His discourses? One sample is presented below: "Always be happy, smiling, and loving. When you are smiling, love will automatically develop in you. There are, of course, some people who will put up a "castor oil" face. You must always be smiling and cheerful. God is always blissful. He does not at all worry for anything. Sorrow and worry are nowhere near God. Always be happy and peaceful. Live like members of the same family with love and affection. Do not be weighed down by petty difficulties and suffering. Do not give scope to any worry. Even if your wife or children suffer from a disease, do not get perturbed. Go back to your places with firm faith that everything will turn out to be good. Lead a happy and peaceful life." - Discourse on 28th July, 2007 (Valedictory function of Youth Conference) What God seeks is something very simple. Or is it?
