Pregunta: Swami, ¿cuál es el trabajo para mí, el propósito de mi vida en Tus pies de loto?

Swami: no quiero que lo hagas solo. Con un dedo, no se puede hacer nada. Es necesario los cinco dedos para trabajar juntos. Todos ustedes aquí, deben de unirse para servir a los pobres. Muchas personas pasan hambre sin comer todos los días. Comience con servir la comida, porque no se puede enseñar filosofía a un estómago vacío. En primer lugar, es necesario alimentarlos, para que se sientan cómodos. Sólo entonces se puede enseñar a otras cosas. Empezar con eso como grupo en España y lo llaman 'Sai Seva Grupo'. Vamos a empezar de esta manera. A partir de ahí, va a crecer por sí mismo en un seva más grande. Habrá un ashram y una escuela. Muchas, muchas, muchas cosas van a ocurrir en el futuro.

Cuando se siembra una semilla, nunca se sabe lo grande que el árbol se convertirá. Question: Swami, what is the work for me, the purpose of my life at Your lotus feet?

Swami: I do not want you to do it alone. With one finger, you cannot do anything. You need all five fingers to work together. All of you here should join together to serve the poor. Many people go hungry without food every day. Start with serving food, because you cannot teach philosophy to an empty stomach. First, you need to feed them, to make them comfortable. Only then can you teach other things. Start with that as a group in Spain and call it 'Sai Seva Group'. Let us begin this way. From that point on, it will grow on its own into a larger seva. There will be an ashram and a school. Many, many, many things will happen in the future.

When you sow a seed, you never know how big the tree will become. Since there is a tree in every seed, I have come here to sow the seed and eventually, as time passes, it will grow into a plant, then into a tree with many branches, leaves and fruits. Thus, it will happen.

One-Way Traffic! 

As Swami emerged from His room in the devotees's home at Salta, Argentina, Dr David Cornsweet who was standing outside guarding the door stepped back to make place for Swami to move in the narrow hallway. 

Swami who noticed this, did not miss the opportunity to teach a lesson as always and turned this mundane moment into a spiritual sermon, when He said, "The corridor is too narrow for two. It's only one-way traffic here; if you are there I can't be there and if I am there, there is no place for you. Similar is the path of God, if you are there, God can't be there and when God is there, you can't be there." And then in His signature style, encrypted it all in one simple sentence, "Where there is 'I', there can't be 'SAI' and when there is 'SAI', there can't be any 'I'". 

I was reminded of what Swami said to me once, "Merge your 'I' in 'SAI' and become one, for there is no place for two."

Wisdom simplified.
