Como un devoto de edad avanzada que sufren de dolores en el cuerpo, subió a orar a Swami en el Darshan que ser curado de sus dolores, Swami sonrió y dijo: "El coche viejo Sir! problemas de mantenimiento ".

Luego, se volvió hacia los chicos y dijo: "El cuerpo es el coche, la mente es el conductor, Atma es el Maestro que viaja. Mientras que el coche es todavía nuevo cubrir la mayor distancia posible, por una vez se es viejo no va a actuar con celeridad. Por lo tanto, digo, se inicia temprano, manejen despacio y llegar a salvo ".

Me acordé de lo que Swami dijo durante el discurso inaugural del Centro para la Excelencia Humana para los muchachos en Muddenahalli. "Mi cuerpo se había vuelto demasiado débil y viejo, así que abandonó el coche viejo por uno nuevo, ya que no tengo ningún apego al cuerpo. Ahora puedo viajar mucho más rápido. El camino y el objetivo siguen siendo los mismos, el vehículo solo ha cambiado. También se puede dar el coche viejo, si lo desea, pero que no lo hará, a medida que se une al cuerpo."

Eso me hizo pensar que mi coche es, sin duda cada vez mayor por el día, mi conductor, a veces no me escucha y el montar a caballo desechos de combustible en los caminos equivocados y todavía tengo una larga distancia a cubrir. En palabras de Robert Frost, 'maderas preciosas son oscuros y profundos, pero tengo promesas que cumplir y millas que recorrer antes de dormir.'

As an elderly devotee suffering with body aches, rose to pray to Swami in the Darshan that he be cured of his pains, Swami smiled and said, "Old car Sir! Maintenance issues."

Then He turned towards the boys and said, "Body is the car, Mind is the driver, Atma is the Master who travels. While the car is still new cover as much distance as possible, for once it gets old it will not move fast. Therefore, I say, start early, drive slowly and reach safely."

I was reminded of what Swami told during the inaugural address of Center for Human Excellence for Boys in Muddenahalli. "My body had become too weak and old, so I gave up the old car for a new one as I do not have any attachment to the body. Now I can travel much faster. The path and the goal remain the same, the vehicle alone has changed. You can also give up the old car if you wish, but you won't, as you are attached to the body."

That set me thinking that my car is definitely getting older by the day, my driver at times does not listen to me and wastes the fuel riding on the wrong roads and still I have a long distance to cover. In Robert frost's word, 'Woods are lovely dark and deep, but I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep.'
