"Los mayores son fuente de sabiduría y fortaleza"
...Generalmente, la gente cree que 70 años es como el fin en el lapso de vida de un individuo. Pero, hay otros hitos como 80, 90 y 100 años que también se pueden cruzar en la vida. De hecho, el entusiasmo, el aliento y la fuerza mental aumenta después de que cruza los 70 años. Es sólo después de los 70 que las facultades mentales y la fuerza átmica se expresan en plena medida.
...Las facultades mentales, la fuerza divina y la de voluntad en una persona se manifiestan plenamente después de los 70 años y lo impulsa a ponerle una nueva meta a la vida. Como resultado, tales personas mayores estarán contemplando y explorando los secretos de la vida. La fuerza divina latente en estas personas está más allá del alcance de los jóvenes.
...Hoy en día, estos mayores son ignorados, considerándolos inútiles para la sociedad. Esto no es correcto. La fuerza y energía latente en ellos no se encuentran en los jóvenes. Si desean emprender cualquier nueva actividad, será provechosa solamente si toman guiatura de los mayores y siguen sus pasos. La verdadera fuerza de ellos está en su sabiduría y nobles pensamientos. Para la generación mas joven, estos ideales son de lo más valiosos.
...El mundo puede beneficiarse mucho de estas personas mayores. Hay un inmenso poder en ellos que puede ser canalizado para el bien de la sociedad. Si analizaran cuidadosamente las acciones de los mayores, cada acción suya resultaría llena de propósito, nobles cualidades y de naturaleza divina. De hecho, nadie puede igualar su vida sistemática y su estricta disciplina. El florecimiento de su intelecto y las divinas cualidades en ellos anunciarán una nueva y significativa vida para la humanidad. Sai Baba

Organización Sri Sathya Sai Baba
Es una gran suerte para los devotos adultos mayores, estar sirviendo junto a Nuestro Señor Sathya Sai Baba. Viviendo la Revolución Espiritual mas poderosa, profunda y abarcante, que el hombre haya experimentado hasta el momento presente. Teniendo el Amor, como medio y como fin en este despertar del mundo.
Como devotos adultos mayores amamos la Organización Sai. Y participamos en ella, desarrollando nuestro crecimiento espiritual, como en una familia, practicando las enseñanzas de nuestro Amado Sai, junto a nuestros queridos hermanos, jóvenes y adultos.
Si bien, los adultos mayores, siempre participamos en la Organización Sai en una manera general. Ahora, en estos divinos nuevos tiempos, participamos en ella de una manera muy especial, como parte esencial de nuestra vida.
Si miramos las áreas en la Organización Sai como nuestro camino de vida, vemos que dichas áreas representan el mapa de ruta en nuestro viaje espiritual. Y este viaje lo iniciamos individualmente, a través de las áreas de Jóvenes y Devoción, que están íntimamente vinculadas y que es adoración espiritual en el que solamente el "Yo" está involucrado. De ahí nos movemos hacia el área de Educación viviendo como sendero familiar, que implica equipar nuestro taller de humanidad practicando los cinco valores, y así tomar conciencia del "Nosotros". Y de ahí, seguimos moviéndonos hacia "El", en las áreas de Servicio y Adultos mayores que están inherentemente relacionadas, sirviendo en la comunidad, viendo a Dios en cada uno y en todas partes.
Área de Adultos Mayores
El Area de Adultos Mayores representa un gran aporte a la Organización Sai. Desde su visión y con todo amor, el devoto adulto mayor contribuye devocionalmente, aportando unidad, sabiduría y experiencia. Participando como miembros en los Consejos Centrales Nacionales y como coordinadores del Area de Adultos Mayores en los Centos y Grupos Sai de cada Pais, colaborando en todo, inspirando y asesorando integralmente.
Objetivos
El propósito general del Área de Adultos Mayores tiene
tres aspectos, orientados hacia:
- El devoto adulto mayor.
- La Organización Sai.
- La Comunidad.
Hacia el devoto adulto mayor
Experimentar lo divino en nuestro interior es el propósito de la vida. Por lo tanto realizamos todas las actividades que sean necesarias, para tomar conciencia de nuestra inherente divinidad. Y así cambiar la situación de aquel hermano mayor que al llegar a una cierta edad se siente inútil, y también, aquellos aspectos de la sociedad, que lo hacen sentirse inútil.
Compartiendo juntos la devoción, desde nuestro propio sentir como personas mayores, disminuimos nuestros apegos y limitaciones físicas que tanto nos agobian, y no nos deja concentrar en el camino hacia Dios.
Nuestro accionar esta dirigido al crecimiento espiritual. Por lo tanto, ponemos énfasis en la indagación profunda y la práctica espiritual, a través de actividades abiertas, como círculos de estudio, talleres, satsang, y servicios comunitarios.
Hacia la Organización Sai
Aportamos relevancia a los programas de la Organización, con ideas y planes. Trabajando activamente en el Consejo Central Nacional y en los Centros y Grupos Sai de todo el país. Contribuyendo amorosamente desde nuestras propias experiencias espirituales, asesorando e inspirando integralmente.
Tomando como base los cinco valores humanos básicos que giran alrededor del eje del amor, ahondamos el Mensaje Sai como fuente efectiva de regeneración espiritual. Motivándonos fraternalmente en unidad, para que las actividades de la Organización estén acordes con las Directivas Divinas y orientadas para servir a las necesidades humanas. Esparciendo el Mensaje Divino y practicando las divinas enseñanzas de nuestro amado Señor.
Ademas, desarrollamos el marco necesario y con sentido, para asegurar la participación de la generación mas joven en las actividades de la Organizaciòn Sai, donde trabajamos juntos, inculcándonos y dándonos elevados ejemplos e ideales.
Hacia la Comunidad
Con todo amor, es objetivo fundamental del área de adultos mayores, compartir el mensaje y las enseñanzas de Bhagavan Baba con nuestra familia, con la comunidad, y con la misma humanidad en general.
Nos abrimos a la Sociedad, a través de un fraternal servicio comunitario grupal, saliendo del Centro o Grupo Sai hacia la Comunidad, y compartiendo con ella y en ella, las enseñanzas de nuestro Divino Maestro.
Vemos en distintos lugares a hermanos devotos con vecinos y amigos en sus casas, compartiendo las Divinas Enseñanzas de Sai Baba. También vemos en Asociaciones Culturales, Centros Yoga..., y otras instituciones similares de bien común, que también, ademas de realizar sus tareas habituales, fomentan, divulgan, y comparten las Divinas Enseñanzas de Sai Baba. Por lo tanto reconocemos que ellos son parte de la Organización. Y si son sinceros aspirantes espirituales, forman parte de los Centros y Grupos Sai, como "Miembros Concurrentes Comunitarios". Donde se registran con el nombre de la familia, asociación, o institución a la que pertenecen o representan.
Es por ello, que el servicio del Area de Adultos Mayores hacia la comunidad es, visitar a estos queridos hermanos miembros comunitarios en sus casas o instituciones. Y compartir con ellos el amor de Swami, proveyéndoles de charlas, Divinos Discursos, talleres, C.D., libros, etc., para que tengan material suficiente y puedan ellos mismos seguir difundiendo desde sus lugares, el Divino Mensaje Sai, con eficacia.
¿Porque área de adultos mayores?
Reconocemos el principio de unidad en la familia. La Humanidad es una familia, por eso nos llamamos hermanos. La Sociedad es una familia. La Organización es una familia. Por lo tanto, en un Centro o Grupo Sai, el adulto mayor cumple su deber como en una Familia Sai. Y como dignos devotos adultos mayores, ese deber lo llevamos a cabo llenos de amor desinteresado, aportando unidad, sabiduría y experiencia.
Con "Adultos Mayores", la Organización Sai completa sus Áreas. Las Divinas Palabras de Swami, referidas a los mayores, cambia rotundamente el concepto generalizado de la vejez, tanto en la Sociedad, como en el mismo adulto mayor. Y llena de amor y esperanza esta etapa de vida.
Es una gran suerte ser una persona mayor y tener como Guia y Maestro al mismísimo Avatar de esta Era. Tenemos la gracia de practicar Sus enseñanzas y servir con todo amor, compartiendo la divina obra de Bhagavan Baba en toda su grandeza y esplendor.
El no nos viene a pregonar que abandonemos nuestras responsabilidades en el mundo. El nos dice que asumamos nuestros deberes como personas mayores, con nuestra familia, con nuestros amigos, y con nuestra sociedad.
Swami nos impulsa a que trabajemos juntos como hermanos, amándonos y ayudándonos, en este despertar de una nueva conciencia espiritual que ya se vislumbra en todos los países. Y que traerá una era de cooperación y unidad, donde prevalecerán los valores humanos, en nuestras relaciones con todos los seres.

"Elders are a source of wisdom and strength"
...Generally, people believe 70 years of age as the deadline in the life-span of an individual. But, there are other milestones like 80, 90, and 100 years also to be crossed in life. In fact, the enthusiasm, encouragement and mental strength increase after a person crosses 70 years. It is only after 70 years that the mental faculties and Atmic strength express themselves in full measure.
...The mental faculties, divine force and will power in a person will manifest fully after 70 years and prompt him to set a new goal in life. As a result, such elderly persons will be contemplating upon and exploring the secrets of life. The divine force latent in these elderly persons is beyond the reach of the youth.
...These days, we are ignoring these elders, considering them to be not useful to society. This is not correct. In fact, the strength and energy latent in these elders are not to be found in the youth. When you wish to undertake any new activity, it will become fruitful only when you take the guidance of the elders and walk in their footsteps. The real strength of elders lies in their wisdom and noble thoughts. The ideals set by these elders for the younger generation are most valuable.
...The world can benefit a lot from these elderly people. There is immense power in these elders that can be harnessed for the good of society. If you analyze carefully their actions, every action of yours will prove to be purposeful and divine in nature.
In fact, no one can match their systematic life and strict discipline. The blossoming of their intellect and the divine qualities in them will herald a new and meaningful life for humanity. Sai Baba

Sri Sathya Sai Baba Organization
It is a great luck for the elderly devotees to serve close to our Lord Sathya Sai Baba, living the most powerful, deepest and encompassing Spiritual Revolution which the man has experienced up to now, with Love as the means and the end in this awakening of the world.
As elderly people we love the Sai Organization. And we participate in it developing our spiritual growth, as a family, participating in the teachings of our Beloved Sai, together with our dear brothers and sisters, young and adult.
Although, the elderly devotees always participate in the Sai Organization in a general way; now, in these divine new times, we participate in it in a very special way, as an essential part of our life.
If we look at the wings in the Sai Organization as our life path, we will see that those wings represent the road map in our spiritual journey. And we start this journey individually through the Youth and Devotion wings, which are intimately related and which is spiritual worship where only the 'I' is involved. From there, we move towards the Education wing living in a family path, which implies to equip our human workshop practicing the five values and, so, to be aware of the 'We'. And from there, we continue moving towards the 'He' in the Service and Elderly Devotees wings which are inherently related, serving in the community, seeing God in everyone and everywhere.
Elderly Wing
The Elderly Wing represents a great collaboration to the Sai Organization. From his vision and with love, the elderly devotee contributes with devotion, the elderly adult contributes providing unity, wisdom and experience; participating as members in the National Central Councils and as coordinators of the Elderly Devotees Wing in Sai Centers and Groups of every country, cooperating in everything, inspiring and advising.
Goals
The general goal of the Elderly Wing has
three aspects directed towards:
- The elderly devotee.
- The Sai Organization.
- The Community.
Towards the elderly devotee
It is the life goal to experience our inner divine. Therefore we perform all the activities which are necessary for the awakening of our inherent divinity, and so, change the situation of the one elderly brother who, at certain age, feels useless and, also, those aspects of the society that make one feel useless; sharing with the devotion from our own feeling as adult people, we diminish our attachments and physical limitations which overwhelm us so much and do not allow us concentrate in the path towards God.
Our performance is directed the spiritual growth. Therefore, we emphasize the deep inquiry and the spiritual practice, and by jeans of the open activities, like study circles, statsang and community services.
Towards the Sai Organization
We provide relevance onto the Organizations Programs with ideas and plans, working actively in the National Central Council and in the Sai Centers and Groups of the whole country; lovely contributing from our own spiritual experiences, advising and inspiring; taking as a basis the five human values which turn about the axis of love; we deepen in the Sai Message as effective source of spiritual regeneration; fraternally motivating us in unity in order that the activities of the Organization are in accordance with the Divine Directives and directed to serve the human needs; spreading the Divine Message and practicing the divine teachings of our beloved Lord.
Besides, we develop the necessary frame in order to assure the participation of the younger generation in the activities of the Sai Organization, where we work together inculcating and giving us mutually high examples and ideals.
Towards the Community
With love, it is the ultimate goal of the Elderly Devotees Wing to share Bhagavan Baba's message and teachings with our family, with the community and with the very humanness in general.
We open us up towards the Society through a fraternal community group service, getting out of the Sai Center or Group onto the Community and sharing with it and in it, the teachings of our Divine Master.
We see in different places, devotees with neighbors and friends in their homes, sharing Sai Baba's Divine Teachings. We also see in Cultural Associations, Yoga Centers… and other similar institutions of community welfare, which also, besides performing their habitual tasks, promote, spread and share Sai Baba's Divine Teachings. Therefore, we recognize that they are a part of the Organization. And, if they are sincere spiritual aspirants, they are a part of the Sai Centers and Groups as "Community Assisting Members"; where they are registered with the family, association or institution name to which they belong o which they represent.
It is therefore, that the Elderly Devotees Wing towards the community is, to visit those dear brothers and sisters in their homes or institutions; and to share with them Swami's love providing them Divine Discourses, workshops, C.D., books, etc, so they have enough material and they are able to spread, from their places, Sai's Divine Message, effectively.
¿Why an elderly wing?
We recognize the principle of unity in the family. The Humanness is a family; therefore we call us brothers and sisters. The Society is a family. The Organization is a family. Therefore, in a Sai Center or Group, the elderly adult carries out his duty as in a Sai Family; and as worthy elderly devotees, we perform this duty full of unselfish love, providing unity, wisdom and experience.
With "Elderly Devotees", the Sai Organization completes its Wings. Swami's Divine Words referred to the elderly people changes categorically the widespread concept of the old age in the Society as well as in the same elderly person; and fill with love and hope this stage of life.
It is a great luck to be an elderly person and to have as Guide and Master the Avatar of this Age. We have the Grace of practicing His teachings and to serve with love, sharing Bhagavan Baba's divine task in its splendor and greatness.
He does not preach us to leave our responsibilities in the world. He tells us that we must assume our duties as elderly personas, with our family, with our friends and with our society.
Swami impels us to work together as brothers and sisters, loving us and helping us in this awakening of a new spiritual awareness that is already being perceived in all the countries; and which will bring an age of cooperation and unity, where the human values will prevail in our relationships with all the beings.

...The world can benefit a lot from these elderly people. There is immense power in these elders that can be harnessed for the good of society. If you analyze carefully their actions, every action of yours will prove to be purposeful and divine in nature.
In fact, no one can match their systematic life and strict discipline. The blossoming of their intellect and the divine qualities in them will herald a new and meaningful life for humanity. Sai Baba

Sri Sathya Sai Baba Organization
It is a great luck for the elderly devotees to serve close to our Lord Sathya Sai Baba, living the most powerful, deepest and encompassing Spiritual Revolution which the man has experienced up to now, with Love as the means and the end in this awakening of the world.
As elderly people we love the Sai Organization. And we participate in it developing our spiritual growth, as a family, participating in the teachings of our Beloved Sai, together with our dear brothers and sisters, young and adult.
Although, the elderly devotees always participate in the Sai Organization in a general way; now, in these divine new times, we participate in it in a very special way, as an essential part of our life.
If we look at the wings in the Sai Organization as our life path, we will see that those wings represent the road map in our spiritual journey. And we start this journey individually through the Youth and Devotion wings, which are intimately related and which is spiritual worship where only the 'I' is involved. From there, we move towards the Education wing living in a family path, which implies to equip our human workshop practicing the five values and, so, to be aware of the 'We'. And from there, we continue moving towards the 'He' in the Service and Elderly Devotees wings which are inherently related, serving in the community, seeing God in everyone and everywhere.
Elderly Wing
The Elderly Wing represents a great collaboration to the Sai Organization. From his vision and with love, the elderly devotee contributes with devotion, the elderly adult contributes providing unity, wisdom and experience; participating as members in the National Central Councils and as coordinators of the Elderly Devotees Wing in Sai Centers and Groups of every country, cooperating in everything, inspiring and advising.
Goals
The general goal of the Elderly Wing has
three aspects directed towards:
- The elderly devotee.
- The Sai Organization.
- The Community.
Towards the elderly devotee
It is the life goal to experience our inner divine. Therefore we perform all the activities which are necessary for the awakening of our inherent divinity, and so, change the situation of the one elderly brother who, at certain age, feels useless and, also, those aspects of the society that make one feel useless; sharing with the devotion from our own feeling as adult people, we diminish our attachments and physical limitations which overwhelm us so much and do not allow us concentrate in the path towards God.
Our performance is directed the spiritual growth. Therefore, we emphasize the deep inquiry and the spiritual practice, and by jeans of the open activities, like study circles, statsang and community services.
Towards the Sai Organization
We provide relevance onto the Organizations Programs with ideas and plans, working actively in the National Central Council and in the Sai Centers and Groups of the whole country; lovely contributing from our own spiritual experiences, advising and inspiring; taking as a basis the five human values which turn about the axis of love; we deepen in the Sai Message as effective source of spiritual regeneration; fraternally motivating us in unity in order that the activities of the Organization are in accordance with the Divine Directives and directed to serve the human needs; spreading the Divine Message and practicing the divine teachings of our beloved Lord.
Besides, we develop the necessary frame in order to assure the participation of the younger generation in the activities of the Sai Organization, where we work together inculcating and giving us mutually high examples and ideals.
Towards the Community
With love, it is the ultimate goal of the Elderly Devotees Wing to share Bhagavan Baba's message and teachings with our family, with the community and with the very humanness in general.
We open us up towards the Society through a fraternal community group service, getting out of the Sai Center or Group onto the Community and sharing with it and in it, the teachings of our Divine Master.
We see in different places, devotees with neighbors and friends in their homes, sharing Sai Baba's Divine Teachings. We also see in Cultural Associations, Yoga Centers… and other similar institutions of community welfare, which also, besides performing their habitual tasks, promote, spread and share Sai Baba's Divine Teachings. Therefore, we recognize that they are a part of the Organization. And, if they are sincere spiritual aspirants, they are a part of the Sai Centers and Groups as "Community Assisting Members"; where they are registered with the family, association or institution name to which they belong o which they represent.
It is therefore, that the Elderly Devotees Wing towards the community is, to visit those dear brothers and sisters in their homes or institutions; and to share with them Swami's love providing them Divine Discourses, workshops, C.D., books, etc, so they have enough material and they are able to spread, from their places, Sai's Divine Message, effectively.
¿Why an elderly wing?
We recognize the principle of unity in the family. The Humanness is a family; therefore we call us brothers and sisters. The Society is a family. The Organization is a family. Therefore, in a Sai Center or Group, the elderly adult carries out his duty as in a Sai Family; and as worthy elderly devotees, we perform this duty full of unselfish love, providing unity, wisdom and experience.
With "Elderly Devotees", the Sai Organization completes its Wings. Swami's Divine Words referred to the elderly people changes categorically the widespread concept of the old age in the Society as well as in the same elderly person; and fill with love and hope this stage of life.
It is a great luck to be an elderly person and to have as Guide and Master the Avatar of this Age. We have the Grace of practicing His teachings and to serve with love, sharing Bhagavan Baba's divine task in its splendor and greatness.
He does not preach us to leave our responsibilities in the world. He tells us that we must assume our duties as elderly personas, with our family, with our friends and with our society.
Swami impels us to work together as brothers and sisters, loving us and helping us in this awakening of a new spiritual awareness that is already being perceived in all the countries; and which will bring an age of cooperation and unity, where the human values will prevail in our relationships with all the beings.
