DE UNNATI A PRAAPTI

Era el 18 de abril 2017 que el Centro Internacional Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani para Child Care & Research corazón comenzó su viaje de proporcionar totalmente libre de costo para niños cirugías de corazón. El príncipe fue llevado por sus padres a partir Hoshangabad en angustia extrema. El niño estaba profundamente cianótica y sin aliento incluso en reposo. "En primer lugar me gustaría agradecer y adorar a Sri Sathya Sai Baba para la construcción de este hospital. Vengo de Sri Lanka y había un período de espera de 3 años en el Hospital público de allí, con más de 3000 niños con defectos cardíacos espera de una cirugía . durante 3 años, hemos experimentado la desesperación de no tener ninguna solución de tratamiento para nuestro hijo.

Llegué a conocer de este hospital un mes antes de venir aquí. He hablado con los médicos y las familias de 4 niños de Sri Lanka, que consiguió funcionar a este hospital local. Finalmente, decidí venir a la India para la cirugía de mi hijo. The Centre is now geared to provided Totally Free of Cost Pediatric Cardiac Cath Interventions for the poor of the country and several other developing countries. We thank you for your wishes and prayers that keep us constantly motivated to significantly address the child health burden of the country.

Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Centres of Child Heart Care at Naya Raipur, Chhattisgarh and Palwal, Haryana have touched over 16000 children from across the country and have healed the hearts of 3515 little hearts, since the inception of the first Centre at Naya Raipur in November 2012. We share with you the medical case of the month, the case of Master Prince who underwent a high risk surgery, Pulmonary Thromboendarterectomy with TOF Repair, a surgery not done at Sai Sanjeevani before.

INAUGURATION OF PEDIATRIC CATHLAB

FROM UNNATI TO PRAAPTI

It was on 18 April 2017 that the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani International Centre for Child Heart Care & Research began its journey of providing Totally Free of Cost Child Heart Surgeries. It was after the surgery that our attention was drawn to the beautiful coincidence that the first child to be operated was Little UNNATI from UP.
UNNATI means PROGRESS and that small word filled us with encouragement as it seemed to foretell the story of this humble step.

Yet another chapter unfolded in the Healthcare Mission of Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani. An exclusive dedicated paediatric cathlab was dedicated to the service of the children of the nation at Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani International Centre For Child Heart Care and Research, Palwal, Haryana on 28th June 2017. This Lab built at a cost of Rs 4 crores will be a boon to thousands of children who will be healed here at this divine temple of healing. The advantage of this state of the art equipment is that selected heart defects could be closed without having to do an open heart surgery.The child can walk back home within a day of the intervention.

On 28th June, the Team led by Dr Munesh Tomar performed 3 cath interventions on the first day, the first child being PRAAPTI, that means ACHIEVEMENT.

Prince was brought by his parents from Hoshangabad in extreme distress. The child was deeply cyanotic and breathless even at rest. An echo was done and he was found to have Tetrology of Fallot. In addition, he found the Pulmonary arteries were full of clots, which is extremely rare.

The medical team went into a huddle and it was decided to offer a very high risk procedure - Pulmonary Thromboendarterectomy with TOF Repair, a procedure not done at Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospitals earlier.

Intraoperatively, thrombus was found to be extending into the segmental branches, well into the lungs. The thrombus was meticulously removed and the TOF Repair performed.

The child made an excellent recovery and is preparing to go home . . . CURED

He expressed immense gratitude to the Hospital for having healed his child and deeply appreciated the love he received at the Hospital.

" At the outset I would like to thank and worship Sri Sathya Sai Baba for building this Hospital. I come from Sri Lanka and there was a waiting period of 3 years in the Government Hospital there, with more than 3000 children with heart defects awaiting surgery. For 3 years, we have experienced hopelessness of not having any solution of treatment for our child.

I got to know of this Hospital a month before I came here. I checked with the local doctors and families of 4 children from Sri Lanka , who got operated at this Hospital. Finally, I decided to come to India for my child's surgery. I came here on 7th June and after witnessing the services and activities of the Hospital, I was convinced that this was the correct decision. My child got operated on 13 June.
