Sai Ram All,
Thank you Aravind for posting the following links. It brought good old memories going back in time prior to Kulwant hall was built. Every early morning a group of men and women comes with brooms and sweep the whole compound and make it spotless. Later devotees come in line and sit on the sand waiting for swami's Dharshan.
Devotees in those days were allowed to take everything form Garlands, Vibuthi packets, photos and even cameras. After the Darshan the shops open and you can buy fresh milk brought in bullock cart from Gokulam.
If you would like to experience life at Swami's Ashram and 50th birthday celebration please follow links for a two part series filmed in 1975. The love of swamis is overwhelming, he not only created the holy ashes but he put on a number of people's forehead as well. If you were one of the recipient please feel free to write your experience.
The episode where Swami comes in a helicopter and landing is described in part 4 of the besonian's blog is also included in part 1.
Hope you all enjoy the film and apologies for the substandard quality of the clip. It was digitalised from an old video cassette.
