Offered at the Divine lotus feet of our most beloved Mother Sai

Our dearest Swami,
As has Rama been the support of Mother Sita and Lakshmana during their exile, as has Krishna been the guide to Pandavas during the Mahabharata war, so are you Swami to us, who are lost in the sea of this transmigratory life. What would our lives be without you? You are our life breath, without which our existence is worthless. Pray, keep us at Your Feet always. Engage us to do Your work and be in the company of Your blessed devotees. Bless our lives to be sanctified by knowing You, whom all the sages aspire to know. Bless us to constantly repeat Your Divine name and recount the endless attributes of Your Divine nature, which breaks the bondage of birth and death in this age of Kali. Bless us to be worthy of proudly calling ourselves Your children.
Swami, you are the support of the Veda. The Veda has emanated from You and is verily Your Divine breath. With folded palms we pray to engage us in Your service, to spread the sacredness and importance of the Veda and its teachings of love and unity to all. Let us be Your instruments in this Divine mission of Yours through our engagement in recitation of ancient Veda mantras.
Swami, let not our actions be any different from our thoughts and words, may we be truthful and honest in all our undertakings and may we rise as Your soldiers in white by promoting unity in diversity, love and peace to all mankind. Swami, we humbly place our vision of Veda Union project at Your lotus feet. We seek Your guidance and blessings on the path that lies ahead.

Sri Rudram 2012

Following our Divine teacher Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba who gives extreme importance to chanting of Sri Rudram, Veda Union proposes an initiative that aims at uniting Veda chanting groups and organizations in Europe through collective chanting of Sri Rudram by the end of the year 2012. Our most humble wish is to chant this ancient Veda mantra from Krishna Yajur Veda by all participants in the Divine presence in Prashanti Nilayam.
The role of Veda Union is to organize and guide this Pan-European effort.

Prayer

Swami, we humbly pray, guide and support us on this project if this is your Divine will and command.
With love and reverence, your children.
