| Radio Sai presents a few glimpses of Day 1 of the 2013 Summer Course in Indian Culture & Spirituality, Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, held on 8 June 2013.
The morning session began with Vedam followed by invocatory talks given by Dr. Naren Ramji (Registrar) and Dr. Shashidhara Prasad (Vice Chancellor).
Next were talks on lessons from Ramayana and Mahabharatha for modern society given by Mr. Sanjay Sahani & Ms. Lalitha Sharma respectively. Bhajan Antakshari (a game of song) followed the talks.
In the evening there were talk by Ms. Vidya after which two students shared their experiences on the lessons learned during their stay in the college hostel. Day 1 ended on a high note with a beautiful music program by Mirpuri college and Muddenahalli campus students. |
