Usted ha dicho, pero lo hice!

Cuando Swami visitó el pueblo la alegría en Enugu, Nigeria, los niños del Ashram presentan canciones sentimentales a la alegría de todos. A partir de entonces, Swami le preguntó al Sr. Tigret y otros para hablar y que felicitó a los niños por su maravillosa interpretación generosamente. Eso hizo que todos los niños muy feliz. Sin embargo, poco después de que cuando fue el turno de Swami hablar, recordando que los niños querían venir a la India, Él simplemente les invitó a la India para actuar en el Ashram en Muddenahalli. Una pequeña exposición de Swami, pero significativa. En este mundo donde la mayoría vistazo a la difícil situación de los demás y en el mejor de hablar unas pocas palabras de consuelo de alivio, Swami hace cosas para aliviarlos de sus sufrimientos. Su compasión fluye a través de sus acciones y los resultados son eterna. Swami solía comentan a menudo, "El hombre habla mucho pero hace poco, en tanto que Dios habla poco pero hace mucho." El nuestro no es simplemente Dios de palabras, pero Dios de obras!

You said, but I did!      

 

When Swami visited the Joy village at Enugu, Nigeria, the children of the Ashram presented soulful songs to the joy of all. Thereafter, Swami asked Mr Tigrett and others to speak and they congratulated the children for their wonderful rendition generously. That made all the children very happy. However, soon after that when it was Swami's turn to speak, remembering that the children wanted to come to India, He simply invited them to India to perform at the Ashram in Muddenahalli. Needless to say, they all burst into a thunderous applause. 

Later in His room, while speaking to the guests and devotees Swami remarked, "Look how happy the children are. You said things and made them happy, whereas I did things and made them happier! While you praised their performance, I rewarded them by inviting them to India. You said, but I did that which would make them happy."

A small statement of Swami, but a significant one. In this world where most look at the plight of others and at best speak a few consoling words of relief, Swami does things to relieve them of their sufferings. His compassion flows through His actions and the results are everlasting. Swami used to often remark, "Man speaks a lot but does little, where as God speaks little but does a lot." Ours is not merely God of words, but God of deeds!
