Usted dijo, pero lo hice!

Cuando Swami visitó la aldea Joy en Enugu, Nigeria, los niños del Ashram presentaron canciones conmovedoras para la alegría de todos. A partir de entonces, Swami pidió al Sr. Tigrett y a otros que hablaran y felicitaron a los niños por su maravillosa interpretación generosamente.Eso hizo a todos los niños muy felices. Sin embargo, poco después, cuando fue el turno de Swami de hablar, recordando que los niños querían venir a la India, simplemente los invitó a la India para actuar en el Ashram en Muddenahalli. No hace falta decir que todos estallaron en un estruendoso aplauso.

Más tarde, en su habitación, mientras hablaba con los invitados y devotos, Swami comentó: "Miren cuán felices son los niños. ¡Dijiste cosas y las hiciste felices, mientras que yo las hice y las hice más felices!Mientras elogiaste su desempeño, los recompensé invitándolos a la India.Dijiste, pero hice lo que los haría felices ".

Una pequeña declaración de Swami, pero significativa. En este mundo donde la mayoría mira la difícil situación de los demás y, en el mejor de los casos, pronuncia unas pocas palabras de alivio, Swami hace cosas para aliviarlos de sus sufrimientos. Su compasión fluye a través de sus acciones y los resultados son eternos. Fue durante la visita de Bhagawan a Rishikesh en diciembre de 2018 que SS Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji y Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswatiji invitaron a Bhagawan a Kumbh Mela en 2019. En respuesta a esta sincera oración, Bhagawan junto con un grupo de personal, estudiantes y devotos procedieron a la Kumbh Mela celebrada en Prayag, el 25 de enero de 2019.
La Kumbh Mela es la feria hindú más grande, donde decenas de millones de personas se reúnen para celebrar el néctar divino de la inmortalidad.Innumerables sabios, santos, Rishis y Sadhus se reúnen en el Divino Sangam de los ríos sagrados: Ganga, Yamuna y Saraswati, para compartir su sabiduría, conocimiento y bendiciones con todos. Se dice que es el momento más propicio para bañarse en el sagrado Triveni Sangam, donde los ríos Ganga, Yamuna e invisible Saraswati se unen y se convierten en uno.
Bhagavan llegó al campamento de Parmarth Niketan en la tarde del 25 de enero y recibió una bienvenida tradicional de parte de los miembros del Parmarth Niketan Ashram. Bhagavan inmediatamente procedió a la gran sala de Satsang , donde estaba en marcha una ceremonia para celebrar y honrar a todos los barqueros de Kumbh Mela. Cada uno de los 500 barqueros que asistieron al evento, recibió chalecos salvavidas como un regalo por su servicio y los estudiantes de las Instituciones Sri Sathya Sai marcaron la ocasión con la recitación de melodiosos cantos védicos .
Después del evento, Bhagavan se dirigió a su residencia en el campamento y se retiró por la noche.

26 de enero
En la mañana del 26 de enero, todos estaban sentados en el Pandalbellamente decorado con vista al río Yamuna para las oraciones diarias de la mañana, Yagna y Rudrabhishekam. Después de la Yagna, Bhagavan junto con Pujya Swamiji y Sadhviji llegaron al lugar mientras se cantaban los Bhajans . Bhagavan realizó el Poornahuti o la ofrenda final para concluir el Yagna, ofreció oraciones a la Madre Ganga y luego procedió a la ceremonia de izamiento de la bandera del Día de la República.
Cuando Pujya Swamiji y Sadhviji hablaron sobre el Sangam o la confluencia de Este, Oeste, Norte y Sur que unen al país, Bhagavan se dirigió brevemente a la reunión ...

PRIMER MINISTRO DE FIJI VISITA EL CENTRO MÉDICO DE SANJEEVANI DURANTE UN EXAMEN DE SALUD ESPECIAL PARA NIÑOS DE DILKUSHA SUVA, FIJI - 2 DE FEBRERO DE 2019

La Fundación Sai Prema, Fiji, organizó una clínica médica especial y un chequeo de salud para los niños del Hogar de Orfanatos Dilkusha en el Centro Médico Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani en Suva.

El día se hizo aún más especial con la presencia del Primer Ministro de Fiji, Excmo. Voreqe Bainimarama y su esposa, la Sra. Mary Bainimarama, quienes pasaron tiempo de calidad interactuando con los niños y miembros de la Fundación.

No solo los niños se sometieron a controles médicos exhaustivos, sino que también disfrutaron de entretenimiento, refrigerios y un suntuoso almuerzo. También se celebraron los cumpleaños de algunos de los niños y el personal del Centro Médico.

With the Blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, we are delighted to present our One Hundred and Fifty Second issue of Ananda Vahini. The weekly newsletter includes interesting musings and short excerpts from the week's events.

In this issue, we bring you the updates of Bhagawan's visit to Khumb Mela at Prayagraj, Allahabad between January 25 to January 27, 2019.

Expanding His legacy in the ongoing global mission, particularly in Education, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba will be performing Bhoomi Puja for four new upcoming campuses in the districts of Shimoga, Karwar, Udipi, Mysore and inaugurating a new Indoor Sports Complex at Sri Sathya Sai Nityaniketanam, Belgaum of Karnataka between February 9 and 12, 2019. The details are given in this issue.

We also present a short report on the visit of Hon. Voreqe Bainimarama, Prime Minister of Fiji along with his wife, Mrs. Mary Bainimarama to Sanjeevani Medical Centre at Suva during a special health checkup for Dilkusha children on February 02, 2019.

In this week's INNER VIEW, Brother Madhusudan shares an interesting moment which took place between Bhagawan and devotees of Nigeria.

You said, but I did!

When Swami visited the Joy village at Enugu, Nigeria, the children of the Ashram presented soulful songs to the joy of all. Thereafter, Swami asked Mr Tigrett and others to speak and they congratulated the children for their wonderful rendition generously. That made all the children very happy. However, soon after that when it was Swami's turn to speak, remembering that the children wanted to come to India, He simply invited them to India to perform at the Ashram in Muddenahalli. Needless to say, they all burst into a thunderous applause.

Later in His room, while speaking to the guests and devotees Swami remarked, "Look how happy the children are. You said things and made them happy, whereas I did things and made them happier! While you praised their performance, I rewarded them by inviting them to India. You said, but I did that which would make them happy."

A small statement of Swami, but a significant one. In this world where most look at the plight of others and at best speak a few consoling words of relief, Swami does things to relieve them of their sufferings. His compassion flows through His actions and the results are everlasting. Swami used to often remark, "Man speaks a lot but does little, where as God speaks little but does a lot." Ours is not merely God of words, but God of deeds!

DIVINE VISIT TO KUMBH MELA
PRAYAGRAJ, ALLAHABAD – 25TH TO 27TH JANUARY, 2019

25th January

It was during Bhagawan's visit to Rishikesh during December 2018 that H H Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji and Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswatiji invited Bhagawan to the Kumbh Mela in 2019. In response to this sincere prayer, Bhagawan along with a group of staff, students and devotees proceeded to the Kumbh Mela held in Prayag, on 25th January 2019.
The Kumbh Mela is the largest Hindu fair, where tens of millions of people gather to celebrate the divine nectar of immortality. Countless sages, saints, Rishis and Sadhus come together at the Divine Sangam of the sacred rivers: Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati, to share their wisdom, insight and blessings with all. It is said to be a most auspicious time to bathe in the holy Triveni Sangam where the Ganga, Yamuna and invisible Saraswati rivers join together and become one.
Bhagawan arrived at the Parmarth Niketan camp in the early evening of 25th January and was given a traditional welcome with by members of the Parmarth Niketan Ashram. Bhagawan immediately then proceeded to the large Satsang hall, where a ceremony to celebrate and honour all the boatmen of Kumbh Mela, was underway. Each of the 500 boatmen who attended the event, were presented with life jackets as a gift for their service and the students of the Sri Sathya Sai Institutions marked the occasion with the recitation of melodious Vedic chants.
After the event, Bhagawan proceeded to His residence in the camp and retired for the evening.

26th January
On the morning of 26th January, everyone was seated in the beautifully decorated Pandal overlooking river Yamuna for the daily morning prayers, Yagna and Rudrabhishekam. After the Yagna, Bhagawan along with Pujya Swamiji and Sadhviji arrived at the venue whilst Bhajans were being sung. Bhagawan performed the Poornahuti or final offering to conclude the Yagna, offered prayers to Mother Ganga and then proceeded to the Republic Day flag hoisting ceremony.
As Pujya Swamiji and Sadhviji spoke about the Sangam or confluence of East, West, North and South bringing the country together as one, Bhagawan then briefly addressed the gathering....

PRIME MINISTER OF FIJI VISITS SANJEEVANI MEDICAL CENTRE DURING A SPECIAL HEALTH CHECKUP FOR DILKUSHA CHILDREN SUVA, FIJI - FEBRUARY 02, 2019

Sai Prema Foundation, Fiji organised a special medical clinic & health checkup for the children of Dilkusha Orphanage Home at the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Medical Centre in Suva.

The day was made even more special with the presence of the Prime Minister of Fiji Hon. Voreqe Bainimarama and his wife Mrs. Mary Bainimarama who spent quality time interacting with the children and members of the Foundation.

Not only did the children go through thorough medical check-ups, they were treated to entertainment, refreshments and a sumptuous lunch. Birthdays of a few of the children and the Medical Center staff were also celebrated.
