Durante la sesión de Preguntas y Respuestas en uno de los Satsangs en Singapur, un devoto preguntó: "¿Cómo sé si es la impotencia lo que me hace ir a Dios o es mi rendición a Dios?"

Bueno, uno pertinente ¿no? Me preguntaba cómo respondería Swami a esto cuando, como de costumbre, lo simplificó cuando dijo: "Cuando Dios es la primera opción, es la rendición, pero cuando Dios es la última opción, es la impotencia". ¿Alguien puede ser más preciso que ¿esta?

Hacer que Dios sea su primera opción fue el punto para llevar a casa.

CONSAGRACIÓN DEL SANTUARIO DE GANESHA Y LA INAUGURACIÓN DEL BLOQUE DE CRIBADO - SRI SATHYA SAI SANJEEVANI, CENTRO DE ATENCIÓN CARDIACA INFANTIL Y CAPACITACIÓN EN HABILIDADES CARDIACAS PEDIÁTRICAS EN KHARGHAR, NAVI MUMBAI - 14 DE AGOSTO DE 2018

La inauguración del Screening Block para pacientes con cardiopatía congénita el 14 de agosto de 2018 también marcó la instalación del ídolo de Lord Ganesha en el próximo Centro Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani de Cuidado del Corazón del Niño y Entrenamiento en Habilidades Cardíacas Pediátricas en Kharghar, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra . Bhagavan Baba llegó al lugar lavado por la lluvia a las 10:45 a.m. en medio de cantos de Vedam y melodías del Nadaswaram. Se dirigió directamente al pequeño santuario que estaba listo para la instalación de Ganesha, el eliminador de obstáculos. En sus charlas, exhortaron a la necesidad de que los habitantes de la ciudad se unan y apoyen a esta institución que ofrecería apoyo cardíaco pediátrico gratuito a muchos niños desafortunados. Mumbaikars se reúnen el 15 de agosto para abrazar un Hospital cardíaco pediátrico gratuito en medio de ellos

Mahatma Gandhi dijo una vez: "Debes ser el cambio que deseas ver en el mundo". Hay cientos de individuos que trabajan desinteresada, ardua y devotamente en el nivel de base, elevando a la sociedad de una u otra forma, ya sea salud, educación, agua, saneamiento, medio ambiente, moral, social o cualquier otra causa social. Sin embargo, cuando individuos con ideas afines colaboran en temas que les apasionan, y cuando se unen bajo un solo pensamiento: la unidad de pensamiento de que India es una nación, y que los problemas que afectan a cada rincón del país son igualmente importantes, juntos el impacto creado es mucho mayor y mucho más descabellado que el esfuerzo de un individuo, sin importar cuán grande o pequeño.

Conceptualizada como una plataforma para reunir a personas apasionadas comprometidas con la causa de la construcción de la nación a través de diversas iniciativas sociales, 'One Nation' se estableció como una iniciativa en Bangalore en vísperas del 67º Día de la Independencia. 'One Nation' tiene como objetivo reunir a líderes sociales visionarios y profesionales corporativos de alto nivel para colaborar en la construcción de una nación fuerte y próspera. Organizado por Sri SM Krishna, ex ministro de Asuntos Exteriores del gobierno de la India, el cónclave inaugural reunió a quienes luchan por construir la nación a través de la nutrición gratuita, la educación gratuita y la atención médica gratuita.

With the Blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, we are delighted to present our One Hundred and Thirty Seventh issue of Ananda Vahini. The weekly newsletter includes interesting musings and short excerpts from the week's events.

In this issue, we bring you a report on the consecration of the Ganesha Shrine and the inauguration of the Screening Block for patients, held on August 14, 2018 at the upcoming Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Centre for Child Heart Care and Training in Pediatric Cardiac Skills in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra.

This year's Independence Day on August 15, 2018 was celebrated with patriotic fervour through the One Nation events at Mumbai and Bengaluru. These events were an endeavour to discuss and deliberate collectively social and developmental goals. A report on these events has been presented.

In this week's INNER VIEW, Brother Madhusudan Naidu shares an interesting moment which happened between Bhagawan and a devotee in Singapore.

During the Questions and Answers session in one of the Satsangs in Singapore, a devotee asked, "How do I know if it is helplessness that makes me go to God, or is it my surrender to God?"

Well, a pertinent one isn't it? I was wondering as to how Swami would answer this when as usual He made it quite simple when He said, "When God is the first choice it's surrender, but when God is the last choice, it's helplessness." Can anyone be more precise than this?

Make God your first choice was the point to be taken home.

CONSECRATION OF GANESHA SHRINE AND INAUGURATION OF SCREENING BLOCK – SRI SATHYA SAI SANJEEVANI CENTRE FOR CHILD HEART CARE AND TRAINING IN PEDIATRIC CARDIAC SKILLS IN KHARGHAR, NAVI MUMBAI – AUGUST 14, 2018

The inauguration of the Screening Block for patients with congenital heart disease on August 14, 2018 also marked the installation of Lord Ganesha idol at the upcoming Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Centre for Child Heart Care and Training in Pediatric Cardiac Skills In Kharghar, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. Bhagawan Baba arrived at the rain-washed venue at 10:45 a.m amidst chants of Vedam and melodies of the Nadaswaram. He proceeded straight to the small shrine that was ready for the installation of Ganesha, the remover of obstacles. As folded hands, fervent hearts and swaying marigold garlands welcomed the Lord, Swami went up the small flight of stairs and presided over the Ganapathi Homam that was underway. He then consecrated the idol blessing all the devotees who had gathered around.

Swami then proceeded to the newly constructed block where the screening for children with heart defects will be conducted even as the Hospital construction is underway. He inaugurated the same and made His way to the Pandal arranged for devotees to gather that morning. After the rendition of a few Bhajans, there were talks by Sri Sunil Gavaskar and Sri C Sreenivas. In their talks, they exhorted the need for the city's denizens to come together and support this Institution that would offer free Pediatric cardiac support to many unfortunate children. Sri C Sreenivas, the Chairman of the Sri Sathya Sai Health and Education Trust, overwhelmed by the mystery of how people and resources appear at Swami's will from thin air, introduced the two brothers who are contractors for the hospital building to all gathered. He conveyed his deepest appreciation and gratitude for their commitment.

Anil and Sagar Reddy had not known or seen Swami while He was in the physical form and their association has been only a year old, yet their commitment and understanding of Swami and His mission is awe inspiring. Swami called and blessed the two brothers profusely who have taken up this challenge to complete the construction in the next 100 days by working day and night along with their entire team, braving the not so cooperative weather of Mumbai.

As Sri Sunil Gavaskar, the legendary cricketer and a long standing devotee stood up to speak, Swami jokingly advised him to talk about how should one play when there are few overs left and....

ONE NATION MOVEMENT: UPLIFTMENT OF THE RURAL POOR THROUGH SOCIETAL COLLABORATIONS – AUGUST 15, 2018

Mumbaikars gather on August 15 to embrace a free of cost pediatric cardiac Hospital in their midst

Mahatma Gandhi once said, "You must be the change you wish to see in the world." There are hundreds of individuals who are selflessly, arduously, and devotedly working at the grass root level, uplifting the society in some way or the other, be it health, education, water, sanitation, environment, moral, social or any other social cause. However, when likeminded individuals collaborate on issues they are passionate about, and when they come together under one thought – the unity of thought that India is One Nation, and that the issues plaguing every corner of the country is equally important – then together the impact created is much greater and a lot more farfetched than an individual's effort, no matter how big or small.

Conceptualised as a platform to bring together passionate people committed to the cause of nation building through various societal initiatives, 'One Nation' was established as an initiative in Bangalore on the eve of 67th Independence Day. 'One Nation' aims to bring together visionary social leaders and senior corporate professionals to collaborate towards building a strong and prosperous nation. Hosted by Sri S M Krishna, Former External Affairs Minister, Government of India, the maiden conclave brought together those striving to build the nation through Free Nutrition, Free Education and Free Healthcare.

After successful conclaves in Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad, the One Nation Conclave in Mumbai was hosted by Padma Bhushan Sri Sunil Gavaskar, in partnership with the Aditya Birla Group was organised at the Mumbai Cricket Association Club on August 15, 2018. The theme of the conclave to mark the 72nd Independence Day was 'Healthy Nation, Wealthy Nation'. The event, which took place in the divine presence of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, an eternal witness and inspiration for these projects, drew a cross section of people from across Mumbai and India, focussed on how the society and the individual as a part of the collective whole can come forward to better the lives of children with congential heart disease.
