The Sri Sathya Sai Education revolution sweeping across Karnataka
It is with great joy, excitement, enthusiasm and thrill in my heart that I share a story of a powerful educational revolution based on Swami's message that is sweeping today across the state of Karnataka in India. And Sri B.N.Narasimhamoorthy, Swami's translator and warden of Brindavan campus for decades, is spearheading it. He is being guided in such amazing ways and today, there is proof for all to see....

How can anyone say that Swami is not in our midst??????
Invitation for Vibrionics Conference Closing Ceremony on 23rd Dec.2012
All about Vibrionics
VIBRIONICS does not interfere with prescribed medication. In general, taking Vibrionics pills in conjunction with prescription medicine can speed up the cure compared to prescription medicine alone. Vibrionics pills are totally harmless and without side effects. Continue to take the remedy until you are fully recovered and the dosage can then be slowly reduced over a long period of time. The period of reduction may be about a third of the time taken to heal. If the remedy is stopped suddenly after you are better, the disease may come back. Many patients prefer to continue a low dosage of the remedy as a preventative measure for a long time.
These Vibrations can be given in water (to children and animals), in ethyl alcohol or in vibhuti. One drop of this vibrated liquid is added to the sugar pills, shaken and given accordingly twice or thrice a day.
PRECAUTIONS
Do not keep the pills near TV, computer, mobile phones, microwave or any electronic gadget with a strong magnetic field since the radiation from these instruments tend to neutralise the vibrations contained in the pills.
Do not eat or drink anything except water for at least 20 mins before and after taking the pills.
Do try to drink 2-3 litres of pure water per day to wash out the toxins released by the consumption of pills unless not indicated by your prescribed medication.
LOVE IS THE BASIS OF ALL HEALING
The most important ingredient in healing is Love. Love prevails when we see God in everyone. Love is unity with everyone. In Universal Consciousness, we are one, we are all connected. Life is a treasure and it is given to us to serve others. When we serve others, we serve ourselves. Baba says 'Start the day with love, fill the day with love, spend the day with love, and end the day with love'.

WHAT IS VIBRIONICS?
The modern technology and the galloping advancement in the field of medicine has been a big boon to humanity at large. Life and the human body have yet remained a mystery. One group of researchers gave a third dimension to this search and came out with this therapy of Vibrations.
From the turn of the 20 century many researchers set out to discover and to define fundamental vibrations of life for everything that exists i.e. human body parts, basic elements, vitamins, proteins, amino acids, minerals, salts etc. In the Vedas it has been said that the world came into existence with OMKAR, a sound vibration. Similarly, diseases have their own vibrating frequencies.
Vibrionics simply means healing by means of a suitable vibration such as that which cannot in general be seen, felt or heard. Each substance, be it animate or inanimate, exhibits a unique vibration which comprises a radiation and a radiance. Radiation is an energy field that is physical and hence it can be observed, defined, analysed and quantified.
This radiation is a combination of heat, light, electromagnetic forces etc, and can be measured using Kirilian photography and more recently by using highly sensitive micro electro voltmeters. Radiation thus represents the material aspects of this field.
Incidentally, radiance is nothing but the Universal Consciousness which also penetrates the physical body and that is precisely the reason why all humans function in the same way.
Each member of a family of similar things depicts a common characteristic i.e. a similar energy pattern and this is so because they are characterised by a similar shape or forms; hence different forms will have different energy patterns.
Taking the example of a healthy internal human organ, let us say the liver will display an identical vibration or the same energy pattern, no matter which human this liver is taken from provided it is 100% healthy. This important discovery is in fact the key to vibration healing. If a diseased liver is analysed however, its vibration will be different from that of the healthy one. By administering suitable healing vibration to a patient, it is possible to correct the distorted energy pattern and bring the diseased physical liver into a healthy state. This in essence is the basis of how vibration healing works.
The fact is that it is not the administered healthy vibration which is responsible for the cure but it is the memory of the vibration of the healthy organ, the natural healing power resident in the organ which effects the cure. The healthy vibration simply acts as a catalyst to awaken that healing power. Any illness, however it is cured, is likely to return if the person does not change to a healthy life-style.
MIND - THE ROOT CAUSE OF ILLNESSES
Sathya Sai Baba says the origin or root cause of an illness lies in the mind. As mind is nothing but a bundle of thoughts, the implication is that the quality of our thoughts is important. Information from a negative thought goes into the subconscious mind and surfaces as unhappiness or illness. On the other hand, when the mind is occupied with thanking God, forgiving and forgetting the mistakes of others, being cheerful, grateful and contented, we live a lifestyle that radiates goodness and in turn keeps us healthy. Once our mind is purified, no illness can touch us. However, this is a long term process during which we may be afflicted with disease; so we must consider the best way to treat our bodies.

With the Christmas week arrived, Prasanthi is vibrant with a thick western populace rejoicing every single moment preparing to celebrate the holy advent in the Ultimate Divine Presence.
In Prasanthi, Christmas always adorns a special colour. There are no folks and no country, it is Western and Western Carols for Christmas that has always been the main attraction. Christmas is the when "westerners" get a chance to strut their stuff for their Beloved Swami. In fact, westerners, devotees from overseas, get to have their hands on everything related to Christmas. The term 'westerner' get a different meaning and should be viewed from a broad global perspective.
While the International Western Choir has been gearing up singing and sweetening 'their' love for The Lord, ably guided by Ms Gisela Sebastian from Germany, little children from various overseas countries also have been practising under ever familiar Alma Badings from the Netherlands. This time the it is Newzealand that is blessed to decorate the 'House Of The Lord' leading to the Christmas Day.

Prayer is more than mechanical lip service, where man needs to follow-up his prayer with congenial action, compatible to his prayer. When he does not, he turns a hypocrite, failing to live up to His expectations. When Bhagawan's own life has become His message, everyone of us, His devotees, should strive to rise up, living up to His set ideals. Are we…? let's introspect within as we read Sri Jullie Chaudhuri…
Manava Seva in fact means and should unfold as – service to all beings…
Along the banks of the holy Ganga,
The astute Guru took His disciples for a walk,
The impact of His teachings,
He wished to unlock,
Their growth he needed to assess,
Time to analyse with what finesse,
Their minds they did dress…
So, on that day, even as the rays of the sun shone radiantly gay, this is what that sage Master had to say -
My children, we must no longer delay,
A lot of time has flown,
Are you quite ready to soar high and fly,
All on your own…?
I would like to hear from you,
How you have grown…as well as,
All that you have assimilated and known…
"Oh! Gurudev, so grateful am I,
I have learnt to recite all the vedic chants,
My life vastly they do enhance…"
"And I, Oh! Master, I must express, you did me enormously bless,
I have made devotional songs my domain,
Hymns to the Lord does my heart reign…"
"As for me, my revered Teacher,
My soul seeks to serve all to the best of my ability…"
The session continued thus…so on and so forth…
On his disciples though he did dote,
However, the Master knew,
None were as yet ready or worthy of his note,
He surmised all to be half-baked,
Flailing in mid-ocean,
As yet untouched was their core,
They were a mammoth distance away from the Shore…
Namah Svabhya Svapathibhyascha Vo Namah
So, my dears…you all seemed to have achieved a lot…your beaming smiles reflect this thought. Did you say you have mastered the vedic chants…? But, little one, have you absorbed the meaning of each word…? The colossal depth of each verse…have you been able to practice…or has it all been mere humdrum rote…?
'Oh! Master, most high…why do you say so…everyone appreciates the way I chant…'
Your voice modulation is quite exact…the intonations have been perfected surely…but has it in any way opened your heart to the essence of the Vedas…? Has it enhanced that feeling of expansion, accord and harmony at all?
Has it revealed that feeling of Oneness…that includes the environment? All our sacred texts contain the earliest messages for ecological preservation…of bringing about a balance…through mutual respect. Has it impressed your thought process to live in harmony with nature and all beings…to recognize the intrinsic truth…that divinity exists in all elements, including plants, birds and animals? The rishis of the past have always had a deep reverence for nature. Their methodology was not mere superstitious lore… they intensely perceived the truth, that all material manifestations had their origin in the spiritual. Their teachings and expressions had love and tolerance as their foundation….to practice wholesome values…and to value every bit in creation….to rejoice in that joyful spirit of camaraderie.
You may convince yourself, but can you delude me…who watches over all your thoughts, words and actions…?
Let us go through a few of these passages and then you may recollect and evaluate your evolution and sync. Mere perfection in reading and reciting is not enough; the crucial test…the assessment of your strength lies in putting all that you have learnt into practice.
Can you not recall that Sant Jnaneshwar made a buffalo recite sacrosanct verses from the holy Bhagavat Gita, just so as to demonstrate to some Sanskrit scholars, who were mighty proud of their learning, that divinity existed in all living beings…?
(BG. 6.31)
Namah Svabhya Svapathibhyascha Vo Namah
For one who sees Me everywhere and sees everything in Me, I am never lost, nor is he ever lost to Me.
Such a yogi who knows that I and the Soul within all creatures are One, always abides in Me, whatever may be his living circumstances.
Yo rudro agnau yo apsu ya oshhadhishhu
Yo rudro vishva bhuvanaaavivesha |
Tasmai rudraya namo astu |
(Sri Rudram Anuvaka 11)
The Rudra in the fire, in the waters, in the plants, the Rudra that hath entered all beings, to that Rudra, we bow and offer homage.
Namo vanyaya cha kakshyaya cha | (Sri Rudram Anuvaka 6)
Salutations to Him who exists as trees in forests and to Him who exists as plants in bushes.

Pashunam pataye namo (Sri Rudram Anuvaka 2)
Salutations to the Lord of all creatures…
And so, dear ones, until we realize Brahman, we all remain pashus…tied with the string of utter ignorance…continuously seeking the incessant grace of Pashupati.
Are you, my dear, truly practicing what you are reciting or should I elaborate on the times I have seen you slipping…and known you to falter?
What about this line from Sri Rudram Anuvaka 4
Namah Svabhya Svapathibhyascha Vo Namah…here don't you offer Salutations to the One who is in the form of a dog…and Who protects dogs…? Then why are you tainting your moments with shades of hypocrisy…?
Namah Svabhya Svapathibhyascha Vo Namah
And you, child…you say you have lost yourself in singing His glories…you have been blessed with a wondrous voice with excellent pitch and divine rhythm… Yes, there are many enchanting lyrics that invoke His blessings and Presence…that seek His mercy and compassion…yet, when any being four legged or two…winged or finned approaches you…what do you do…rather may I ask…what have you been doing…? Need I say more? I am sure you are able to recount the incidents I am referring to.
Singing should not be a mechanical offering…it should be a prayer from the individual heart to the Cosmic Heart…from a micro soul to the Supreme Soul…when you sing you must seek His benevolence for every atom of creation…peace and harmony…sumati, sanmati, sahara, daya…for all those in need…the suffering, the hunger and thirst of others…be it of any being should bring tears and an immediate response from your heart…Is it so as yet…? The place where you reside should be a haven for all, whatever maybe their shape…
Namah Svabhya Svapathibhyascha Vo Namah
And you, you spoke about service…that is so beautiful…if you can serve another with your every breath…you have understood the true meaning and purpose of life…and the purport of the texts you have been studying. You can serve even as you go about your daily chores…while you chant or sing…or sweep the floor…the intent is important. What is even more vital is your eagerness to serve…to reach out…whenever the need arises…whatever maybe the time. Am sure you all remember the words of Beloved Bhagawan…our dear Lord…our Param Guru, Whose life is an eternal message…Whose magnanimous acts of kindness make compassion blush – Did He not make us aware of 'Samastha Jeeva Sukhino Bhavantu'…? He directly feels the pain, hunger, thirst and agony of every living thing. Just as the 'all' in 'Love All, Serve All' refers to each and every creature…so too, in the statement 'Manava Seva is Madhava Seva…' 'manava' refers to all beings…for He resides in all hearts… Hasn't He also declared, "I am in every heart, that is the temple where I dwell…" Ah! And then He went on to say – "There is only one royal road for the spiritual journey…love, love, love…Love for ALL beings as manifestations of the SAME DIVINITY that is the very core of oneself…"?
Namah Svabhya Svapathibhyascha Vo Namah
If we ignore this Oneness we remain stagnant…for only when knowledge combines with empathy…with kindred sentiments…when compassion doesn't remain just a theory, but becomes a natural flow of pure love that synthesizes and encompasses all beings…beyond boundaries of caste, creed, culture and states of evolution…that is when you are living in awareness of a heightened state of being…you metamorphose into a worthy child of your Master…you rise from pasu to human to divine…then, and only then, your salutations to Pashupati…the most benevolent Lord of all creatures is accepted in as much a wholesome way as it is being offered…Your acts of service should be a ceaseless pristine worship of the Lord.
Even as you continue your spiritual practice with renewed gusto…let me conclude this day's session with sentiments expressed by none other than our sweet Lord when He had incarnated and enchanted all as Sai of Shirdi -
"The appeasement of the dog's hunger is the same as Mine. The dog has got a soul; the creatures may be different, but the hunger of all is the same, though some speak and others are dumb (mute). Know for certain, that he who feeds the hungry, really serves Me with food. Regard this as an axiomatic Truth."

God Has Come To Save The World From Calamity…

God Has Come To Save The World From Calamity…

Thursday, December 20th, 2012
God, The Creator Architect of the entire projected physical creation is The Lord of all the Brahmands that, combine together, are infinitesimal before His unfathomable Divine magnificence. Dispelling fears of destruction, Bhagawan discoursed on March 17, 1961, exhorting humanity to revel in His glory resorting to spiritual practices, to win His anugraha, that would allay all unwarranted fears troubling human minds.
"Kasthuri has just now read from the Panchangam (almanac) for the New Year, the predictions of the astrologers about rainfall, the condition of the crops, the prices of articles in the markets, the rise and fall in the rates of gold and silver, the prospects of internal and external peace, the occurrence of natural calamities like floods, droughts, earthquakes, etc. But reading all this only increases your worries, your restlessness. Take things as and when they come. Do not try to peep too far into the future with the help of astrologers. They are mostly wrong, and the data you supply them are mostly unreliable.
Take care of the Panchangams (the five-limbed almanacs) within you; that is more vital. The Panchangams within you are the five senses; educate the mind to hold them in check – then you can have peace of mind, whatever the rise in the market rates or the quantity of rain. Do not get panicky over what the almanac says about the combination of many planets, the Ashtagrahakoota. They exaggerate the consequences; nothing much will happen; the Pralaya (destruction of the Universe) is more in the frightened mind than in external nature. If you earn the Anugraha (blessing) of the Lord, no graha (planet) or combination of grahas can harm you. If you learn how to secure that Anugraha, you need not worry about the Panchangam.
Today, you are celebrating the arrival of a New Year with a new name, a name that you will use for twelve coming months. But remember, it is not the year alone that is new once in 365 days. Every day is new, every hour and minute, every second is new. Do not celebrate only the New Year Day in joy; celebrate every second in joy.
Start from today, not that today is a New Year – there are so many New Years celebrated as such by one or the other community that every day is a new year to some one set of people – but because it is today and the matter brooks no delay, start from today a new chapter in your life, the chapter of Japam (recitation of holy name) and Dhyanam (meditation), Japa-sahitha Dhyaanam (recitation-oriented meditation) or Dhyaana-sahitha Japam (meditation-oriented recitation). In the Thretha Yuga, the Name was SeethaRama; in the Dwapara Yuga, it was RadheShyama; in this Kali Yuga, it is Sarvanaama, that is to say, all Names of the Lord; you can select any one that appeals to you.
God Has Come To Save The World From Calamity…
Life is like a flight of steps towards the Godhead. You have your foot on the first step when you are born; each day is a step that must be climbed; so be steady, watchful and earnest. Do not count the steps ahead or exult over the steps behind. One step at a time and that well climbed, that is enough success to be satisfied with and to give you encouragement for the next one. Do not slide from the step you have got up on. Every step is a victory to be cherished; every day wasted is a defeat to be ashamed of.
Slow and steady – let that be your maxim! Adhere to a regular routine, a time-table. Just as the doctor prescribes a certain fixed measure or weight of the drug and warns you that anything less is ineffective and anything more is harmful, so too, have some limit for your spiritual exercises. Do not overdo them or do them casually and without care. The doctors tell you also about the hour of the day and the number of times the drug has to be repeated, for, the action of the quantity taken must be reinforced before it becomes weak. So also, you have to repeat the Japam and Dhyanam at regular intervals.
Millionaires who always go about in cars and aeroplanes and people of sedentary habits are advised by doctors to take a long walk every morning. The walk is called a 'constitutional', because it helps to build up the constitution. Similarly, to get over the mental ills consequent on too-long brooding over worldly affairs, the Guru will advise you to have a long spell of Dhyanam and Japam. Do not move so fast with the world; the cure for moving fast is to sit quiet. Do not get entangled in the vain hubbub of the world; the treatment for those who suffer from the after-effects of that is silence and meditation.
You will have observed that when your train is stationary, another train moving along another line gives you the feeling that it is your train that moves. If you watch your coach, fix your attention on your train, you know the truth. Similarly, as long as your attention is turned on "the other," "the outer," your knowledge is based on illusion. Once you divert the attention to yourself, you can discover the truth, viz., though the world moves, you are still.
In the Panchangam, as Kasthuri quoted now, it is also predicted that in the year that is born today, the number of people who deride God and who laugh at Him and hate Him will increase. Let Me ask, how can that happen, for that number has reached the maximum already! The cynical spirit of derision and ridicule is the bane of this age; but there is no reason for the godly to be down-hearted. At least the coming Ashtagrahakoota (conjunction of eight planets) will put some fear into people's minds and they will call on God to save them and they will do various acts to propitiate the divine beneficence in order to overcome the maleficence of the planets. Therefore, the prediction might prove incorrect, after all. Be assured that the Lord has come to save the world from calamity. Your duty is to keep calm, to pray for the happiness and prosperity of all. Do not pray for your own exclusive happiness, and say, "Let the rest of the world go to pieces." You cannot be happy when the rest of mankind is unhappy. You are an organic part of the human community. Share your prosperity with others; strive to alleviate the sufferings of others. That is your duty.
