Todos nosotros, no puede haber médicos, maestros y profesores, ingenieros o campo especializado de expertos. Pero el desayuno es tan simple un pensamiento. Todo el mundo tiene hambre y así todo el mundo debería tomar el desayuno; Tan sencillo como eso. Y cuando se trata de niños, que no pueden esperar por la comida. Tienen que comer cuando tienen hambre. Y todos sabemos que debido a que todos éramos niños en algún tiempo. Este es un hermoso pensamiento tal y hoy en día es tan sorprendente ver que muchos son parte de ella en todo el mundo y en los tiempos por venir, que va a crecer aún más, hasta que Swami logra la visión de que ningún niño en todo el mundo se va a la escuela con hambre nunca. No hay duda de ello. Todo el mundo que va a la escuela debe tener un estómago lleno de desayuno. Esa es la idea de Swami.

There is nothing to feel sorry, lament or feel disturbed by these words of Swami because as Swami said much has been spoken and almost everything one needs to know has been told by Swami over the years and more recently. Therefore, it is needed that we contemplate, we digest what has already been spoken and we practice in our lives and benefit from them instead of looking for more and more interactions and discourses.
I hope and aspire that all of you will take this message very seriously, will go back and study all that Swami has spoken and you will find your answers and thereby understand it, contemplate on it and digest it and finally assimilate it and practice it.

CM's APPEAL GRANTED: TWO CAMPUSES IN PUDUCHERRY AND KARAIKAL ANNOUNCED
Yesterday, we had the Education Minister of Puducherry, Sri R. Kamalakannan here (in Muddenahalli). Before he opened his mouth, I understood what was going in his heart. It was the same prayer which was not spoken yesterday but it is today spoken by the Chief Minister that Swami should open an educational institution in their own land. I told the Education Minister yesterday, "You show Me the land and I will show you the school!" Our Education Minister spoke to the Chief Minister overnight and said to him, "Sir! You go and show the land and Swami will show the school next!"
I assure that I will soon come to Puducherry and I will definitely begin two schools, both in Puducherry and Karaikal, one for the boys and one for the girls! (Thunderous Applause)
Much good can be done when God, Govt and the People come together. Let us all recommit ourselves, let us all rededicate ourselves, let us all promise ourselves that we shall spend our lives in a way that brings joy, that brings harmony, that brings happiness into the lives of many more people.

Question: Is there something that Swami has planned at the Global level for Annapoorna Breakfast Programme?
Answer: Yes!! When Swami says, 'No Child Should Go to School Hungry Ever' He means it! But of course, everything takes time. He cannot all of a sudden launch it. But every single country that He has gone, He has started it. He has told to feed the homeless because most of the other countries are otherwise well to do. They don't have this kind of issue about breakfast for school going children. They may have the nutritional issue though. They may be obese eating all kinds of unwanted things. Eating breakfast is generally happening in all the countries except for some of the developing or third world countries. But Swami has already thought about all of that. However, His first preference is to set the home right before going and helping the neighbors. He wants to set this country right. That is His first priority. At the same time, Nigeria ashram serves free meals to almost 900 children every day. So definitely, there is a global mission. It may not happen in a year or two or ten years. But as time passes, it will eventually happen.
Swami told Anand (Kadali) in the very beginning. Imagine, when there were not even 50 children who were served Breakfast then, Swami had the guts to say, of course, it comes from the knowledge that He has, that this is going to be the World's Biggest Free Breakfast Serving Programme. And how it will happen? As Swami always jokes; the way it has happened so far, that is the way it will happen in the future! It will grow like that on its own! So, yes there is a bigger plan and I am sure there will be hundreds and thousands of volunteers who will join this mission as time passes.
Swami has even told that all the Trusts put together (Nutrition, Education, and Health); will be the World's Largest Private Trust that gives FREE services. The intensity and the size of the FREE Service will make it the World's largest, leaving behind all the others established even 1000 years ago (religious and non religious). That is how the Mission is going to grow. Obviously, when God is here, He has to do something which has never been done before. Isn't it? How can He be God, if He is doing just the the ordinary and going away? He has to do something unprecedented and this is the time He is going to do it. He said so.
'Annapoorna is going to grow further, and there is no doubt about it.'
I am just here to share this moment with all of you. It's a wonderful moment because I have been like a firsthand witness to Annapoorna from the day one when one fine morning Swami had called Anand (Kadali) who was then just kind of a youth colleague to me because we had worked on a certain drama which was presented on behalf of the state organization of Karnataka in the presence of Swami in Puttaparthi. And since I was coordinating and Anand was assisting, that's how I knew him. Swami puts people together for a reason. We don't realize but then He brings the right people, He pulls the right strings, does things at the right time in such a way that at the end of it all, it manifests as a beautiful story scripted by Him in His own inimitable way. That's how I met Anand during 2009-10.
When Swami started coming this way, I happened to share with him and he was very excited and then Swami took over from there and slowly developed the relationship. I remember Anand was very upset in 2011 when Swami told he can join the mission yet soon after the Bhoomi Pooja for Raipur hospital was performed when he had participated along with his family. Swami had then said to him that he still had time before he could fully join the Mission and not to be in a hurry. But all for a good reason; all in good time with Swami. So, when the time was right, Swami did call him a year or so later in 2012; started off with serving food to just 50 children in the outskirts of Bangalore. We all know that story and how day after day after day, it started growing and spreading and how every single day Swami was there with the volunteers who were finding time every single morning despite their corporate careers to travel almost 20 kilometers up and down to see those children who would wait with eager empty plates to receive their first meal of the day, piping hot breakfast which sometimes we also don't eat as professionals. Most of us skip breakfast. I had been skipping breakfast all my corporate life to get ready and rush to office. Here we have Swami who sent such otherwise indisciplined corporate professionals who skip their own breakfast to go and serve breakfast to the children. In the process eat their breakfast also. Swami said they should also have their breakfast there. Children should feel one with them.
Things went on beautifully till one fine day when Swami said you have done this but this is not enough. We have to take up Chikkaballapur district and He started spreading to Karnataka. There was a need for a Trust, a formal body. Swami beautifully named it as Annapoorna, the mother Goddess who fed Lord Shiva Himself when He was hungry. If she is capable of feeding the Lord of the Universe, she is capable of feeding every child in the universe. The name was given by Swami so aptly. Swami was very clear that this was going to be a Breakfast Seva programme. Many people came and gave various advices to Swami like why don't we include this category of people and that category of people because they are also hungry. But Swami was very clear about it. School-going children only! He was very clear from the day one. Not even children who are not going to school. If they are simply whiling away their time without studying, I don't want to deal with them. And then Swami gave this beautiful tagline. I think it's one of the most clear, precise and powerful motto that any Trust can ever have.
'Let no child go to school hungry ever!'
Not Chikkaballapur or Karnataka child, India or America child. 'Let no child' - wherever the child exists, 'go hungry TO SCHOOL' - without school, no! Lot of children will go hungry without going to school, but He was very clear. And the best word was 'Ever!' - He did not say one or two days of the week.
I have never seen a vision statement so clear, precise and powerful as Swami has given to Annapoorna Breakfast Seva. He encompassed the entire idea.
And what an idea! Nobody thought about it. Can you believe it? Nobody thought that breakfast is important and children go without breakfast to school. That is the need; unserved area in the society. Midday meals are there, many other nutritional programmes might be there. But nobody thought of this particular aspect other than Swami. It was such a unique proposition. And that's why it is so very wonderful to be part of this initiative and I am so glad that what started with just a handful of people, today has grown into such a formal team, is recognized across the globe; not just the country. Devotees and many well-wishers from around the world are now participating in it either directly or indirectly. What an opportunity it has opened up for so many people to think a little more selflessly every day. All of us can't be medical doctors, teachers and professors, engineers or specialized field of experts. But Breakfast is so simple a thought. Everybody feels hungry and so everybody should have breakfast; as simple as that. And when it comes to children, they cannot wait for food. They have to eat it when they are hungry. And we all know that because we all were children at some of time. And we all bugged our mothers, fathers, and grandmothers for our meals and we didn't agree till we were given what we wanted!
This is such a beautiful thought and today it is so amazing to see so many are part of it across the globe and in times to come, it is going to grow further, until Swami achieves the vision that no child across the world would go to school hungry ever. There is no doubt about it. Everybody who goes to school should have a stomach full of breakfast. That is Swami's idea.

What makes Annapoorna click is the IMPLICIT OBEDIENCE to Swami's command! Swami gives lot of instructions to lot of people. I am the firsthand witness and even carrier of these instructions most of the times. But I am also the observer of what people do with these instructions. Many times, they twist it; turn it to suit their convenience. Many times, they simply change it totally head over heels, make something else out of it and try to say that, this is what Swami 'meant' by saying this! And sometimes, they simply ignore saying I don't think Swami told me this! Swami might have told the next person!! They just ignore because that is too inconvenient to act upon.
But this is one group of devotees, volunteers; who have implicitly obeyed Swami's instructions to a T; without twisting, turning, stretching, compressing the facts and instruction, they exactly follow what Swami says! And sometimes, it is too daunting. It is a tall order. Swami comes with a target which is far bigger than the previous year. And they don't know how they will make it happen, yet they march forward. And that Swami loves so much about this group. They simply blindly faithfully loyally abide by whatever Swami says. They don't change it at all. I am speaking on behalf of Swami and when I hear these instructions, I am only taken aback! 5 lakh children by 95th Birthday! 5 lakh is quite a bit, and to go out and reach so many is a quite a task. But if He says, our people are there to do. They just take it up. And you are seeing how it is growing.
Our mission's expansion is not because of our capabilities, not because of our availability also. More than anything else, it is because of our implicit obedience to Swami's instructions. That is what makes things happen the way they are happening. All the fields; whether education, or health or nutrition.
First of all, I wanted to congratulate all of you for being such amazing servants and followers of Swami. And really, Swami wants to do so much more for the world. But there is a rule. He is a referee, an umpire; He is a guide. He cannot get into the game. He cannot start batting for us, cannot start playing for us. Like Krishna, He will be the charioteer, He will be the guide. He will be the constant companion. However, to do is in our hands. And that's what so to say; the limitations are that come into picture wherein He personally would not like to get involved and do things but He would get it done through His obedient followers. The more we follow; the more He can do. He has never made us cut a sorry figure. In the last six years, never it has happened that we had to shame ourselves, embarrass ourselves for having bitten more than what we could chew! He always achieved what He wanted us to achieve without missing a single target or instruction. He makes it happen. But on one side, it is His will and on the other side, it is the implicit obedience to His command, which is the most amazing thing about Annapoorna group of people. That makes me feel so happy.
What more can I say? Swami is so happy with this group and is always praising them. He tells I don't help them directly. Of course, He has thousand hands and He does what He does. But not the way He looks after education or medical Trust, with His direct involvement, of course it is much bigger in size and the intensity is far bigger. His unseen hands are always there. But then this is totally to the credit of these volunteers who have taken it upon themselves as a challenge, as a task, as a command, as a blessing, as a prasadam to do what Swami wants them to do. We are seeing this transformation happen everywhere.
You don't have to go to Himalayas, dwell in a cave for years, eating nothing, standing on one leg! Go, feed breakfast to children and you can make God happy! You can't have easier God than this. You can't have a simpler way than this to please God in this Yuga. Swami is Sulabhaprasannaya! I think this is our blessing which has come our way. Somehow of all the people He has chosen us to give us the simplest of the task to please Him. And by pleasing these children He is so happy. When He is happy, He takes care of everything in our lives. He does not want us to worry about anything. Before we ask, it is done.

Each One Educate One
"I recently visited the Sri Sathya Sai Sharadaniketanam, Each One Educate One Foundation's partner school in Mandya. What has stayed with me days after the visit is the spiritual aura of the place, the grandeur, the magnificence and the immense power of goodness that's manifested as pure love here.
One of the students shared with us his story of transformation. He was earlier hooked to his smart phone, was lazy and didn't understand the value of money, he said. "But after joining this school, I have so many role models in my teachers and senior students that I have realized the folly of my earlier ways. I now strive to be a role model for the younger students," he proudly shared.
What can I say – there are so many such stories of transformation! There really are very few moments in life when everything is perfect. My visit to the Mandya school and the time I spent there knowing and interacting with the staff and students was perfection all the way. I wish and pray that more and more children benefit from such a transformational education system.
