Dado a Dios, nunca se desperdicia!

Fue durante la Navarathri Homas y Dussehra Yajnam 2017 que un niño se levantó sobre sus rodillas mientras Swami pasa por en Darshan y planteó una pregunta muy sincera,

"Swami, estamos ofreciendo ghi, saris y varios otros artículos costosos para el fuego, no se desperdicia conseguir? En cambio, el mismo dinero podría utilizarse mejor para servir más pobres."Swami, se detuvo en sus pasos se inclinó para escucharlo y luego con gran paciencia y la compasión se ha explicado,"Querido! Cualquier cosa ofrecida a Dios no va residuos vez se trata de volver colectores. El agricultor que esparce unos granos a la Madre Tierra, podría parecer que el desperdicio de comida que podría alimentar un poco más de personas que padecen hambre, pero realmente el agricultor sabio sabe que si da incluso un poco a la Madre Tierra, que dará vuelta a muchos veces más como una rica cosecha más tardía ".

No podía imaginar si el concepto de ofrendas a los dioses durante Yajnam podría haber sido simplificado aún más.

Entonces Swami continuó diciendo, "Un pedacito de sari que Draupadi atado al dedo sangrado de Krishna, volvió colectores para salvar su honor en la corte de los Kauravas."

"El fuego es el cartero que entrega nuestras cartas y paquetes a los dioses cuyos nombres y direcciones se cantan a través de los mantras, pero sin pagar los derechos postal o fijar el sello del amor, la carta no habría llegado al destinatario. Del mismo modo, hay que ofrecer aunque pequeña, con gran amor, que es lo que Dios quiere de nosotros ".

El niño estaba satisfecho y yo, abrumado en el IMPLIFICACIÓN de esa verdad profunda.

Given To God, Never Goes Waste!

It was during the Navarathri Homas and Dussehra Yajnam 2017 that a child rose on His knees while Swami passed by in Darshan and put forth a very sincere question, 

"Swami, we are offering ghee, sarees and several other expensive articles in to the fire, is it not getting wasted? Instead the same money could be better utilized for serving more poor." Swami, paused in His steps bent low to hear him out and then with great patience and compassion explained, "Dear one! Anything offered to God does not go waste instead it comes back manifolds. The farmer who scatters a few grains on to the Mother Earth, might appear to be wasting food which could feed a few more hungry people, but truly the wise farmer knows that if he gives even a little to Mother Earth, she will give back many times more as a rich harvest later." 

I could not imagine if the concept of offerings to Gods during Yajnam could have been simplified any further. 

Then Swami went on to say, "A little piece of saree that Draupadi tied to the bleeding finger of Krishna, came back manifolds to save her honor in the court of Kauravas." 

"Fire is the postman who delivers our letters and parcels to the Gods whose names and addresses are chanted through the Mantras, but without paying the postal duty or attaching the stamp of love, the letter would not reach the addressee. Similarly, we must offer even if little, with great love which is what God wants from us." 

The child was satisfied and I, overwhelmed at the implification of such profound truth.
