Reciting or listening to the Devi Mahatmyam confers great blessings and solves all problems. The Devi Mahatmyam is also commonly known as the Chandi Path or the Sri Durga Saptashati, with saptashati indicating its 700 verses or mantras. This beautiful sung version here begins with the traditionally "required" preliminary angas or "limbs", supplementary texts/prayers added later on to the original scripture, then goes right in to the Devi Mahatmyam itself.
