Sukshma Baba Report 151  23-11-15 Sathya 32  Birthday Sai Ram This is the official report of Swami Birthday celebration on 23 November 2015. There was palpable excitement in the air as the most awaited day dawned – 23rd of November, Bhagawan's Birthday. The morning's programme for the day was a very unique offering – something everyone was looking forward to – a series of floats representing different countries. The proceedings began with Bhagawan releasing doves and balloons to signal the start of the day's celebrations. The procession then rolled in with the Sanathana Dharma float, representing the unity of all faiths. It was followed by the floats of UAE, Nigeria, Greece, Singapore / Japan, Australia / Fiji, European Union, Malaysia Indonesia, USA, India, Sri Lanka, Argentina and UK. Each of the floats had representatives from the respective countries, creatively showcasing what the country stood for. The Nigerians put up an African dance, while the Singapore float had a lion dance accompanied to instrumental music. Each of the floats lovingly wished Bhagawan a Happy Birthday as they went past the dais.                                After the multi-country, multi-faith procession, the programme venue shifted to Premarutam. Bhagawan was welcomed to the hall with the brass band by the students, veda chanting by students and alumni and traditional dancers.                       Swami threw rice (akshatalu) and sweets at the joy-filled devotees gathered in the hall as He gave Darshan. The proceedings started with a musical bouquet presented by the music group composed of both men and women. The quawaali Aaye hai Tere Darbar Mein was particularly soulful. Bhagawan blessed the group profusely and handed them small mementos. This was followed by a short introduction to the two service programs that Swami was launching on this auspicious occasion. Brother Joy Barai introduced the first – a mobile hospital service, Satya Sai Aarogya Vahini, which was simultaneously launched in Kolkata. Sister Deepika Amirapu, alumna, Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, Anantapur Campus, introduced the second service program – Sai Annapoorna. The initiative started with Bhagawan pointing out that many children went to school without breakfast because their parents could not afford to give them a morning meal. He instructed the team to identify a village and start serving the students some breakfast, which he said was food for the body, and teach them spiritual and moral values, which was food for the soul. The seed of this unique service has since spread and over the last six months various teams have started serving breakfast in 20 schools across different cities. Bhagawan then asked the team to begin this breakfast seva in 90 schools, a majority from the Chikkaballapur district in Karnataka. He named the program Sai Annapoorna and defined it as a unique initiative that focuses on GramaUddharana and Grama Parivarthana, Rural Upliftment and Rural Transformation, focusing on Vidya (Education),Vaidya (Healthcare), Vaari (Water) and Vidhyuth (Electricity). Read More This was followed by the valedictory function of the World Youth Meet in the form of a talk by Sri BN Narasimhamurthy, senior Trustee, Sri Sathya Sai Loka Seva Trust. Bhagawan delivered his much-awaited Birthday Discourse after that. Divine Discourse Summary The programme ended with Bhagawan lovingly cutting the various birthday cakes that devotees had arranged artfully on the dais. On His way out, Bhagawan blessed the special SAI buses that the devotees from the USA had got specially made as per His instructions. These unique buses, one each for Hyderabad, Kolkata and Bangalore, can be used to teach students computers (Vidya) and are designed to be used for providing healthcare (Vaidya) to villagers as well. In addition, they are fitted with a water purification system (Vaari) and solar panels and hence can generate electricity (Vidyuth). Divine Discourse on November 23  -  Morning Summary The physical, inert body is made up of five elements – earth, water, fire, wind and space. Similarly, even the spiritual content of the human personality also has five elements. Only when a man practises the five human values of truth, righteousness, peace, love and non-violence, can he can be called a man. In the same way as the physical body is created out of five elements, even the spiritual personality of man is created by the conglomeration of all these five human values. For the five human values, there is only one basis. Love is that basis.  Love in speech is Truth. Love in action is Dharma or Righteousness. Love in thought is Peace. Love in understanding is Non-violence. The whole world is reflection, reaction, resound. When you give love, you will get love. If you hate anybody, you will get back hate. If you stand in front of a mirror and smile, the reflection also smiles at you. That is why I say the whole world is nothing but reflection. When you love people selflessly, you will definitely get selfless love from everyone. When you love everyone from within your heart, in that heart Swami will establish and install Himself permanently. And He will always be happy and will never experience any sorrow. When you go back home to your countries whatever you have learnt here, you have to practice and propagate. You are carrying seeds in your hands. Only when you sow that seed in land, it can give you fruits. If you keep seeds in your hand and aspire for fruit, you will never get it. When you contemplate on Me and enter into any activity all activities will succeed. Why do you face obstacles and difficulties? Just because we forget God at that moment. You do love Swami there is no doubt. But because Swami is in everyone, you have to love everyone. When you love Me and ridicule and criticise others, that is no love at all. When you love everyone then only you are loving Swami. Swami has not gone anywhere. If you want a witness or a testimony for Swami being here, your being here is the testimony. If Swami is not with you for a moment, you cannot live in this world. Swami in the form of consciousness and energy is always in you; without Him you cannot live. As long as you live you know that Swami is there. Sai is the basis of your life. You have to make the basis firm by developing firm faith in Sai. Sathya yuga has started no doubt but a person who sleeps even after sunrise there is no reward because he did not make the required effort during the day. In spite of the sunrise because he is sleeping, he thinks it is night. Whether Sathya yuga comes or not; that does not matter. You have to question yourselves whether your behaviour is in accordance with Sathya yuga.  In this age of love, Prema yuga, we should develop that kind of love. My love and grace are there on every one of you. Put it to good use. There may be heavy downpour but if the vessel is kept upside down, you cannot fill the vessel. With My grace when your effort joins, you can find success. My Grace is always there; you should not be lacking in your effort. When effort and grace get together, you get success. As long as you think you want to experience your divinity, you have to put in your effort, not give up in the middle; you have to march ahead till you reach the goal. Divine Discourse on November 23 - Evening Summary When a flower blossoms nobody needs to invite a bee. Wherever the sugar is, there is no need to announce it to the ants; aspiring for the sweetness of the sugar, the ants by themselves spontaneously come to the sugar. Similarly, there is no need to announce to the devotees where God exists.  True devotees looking for the divine sweetness of love on their own come to the personality of God.  When Swami was in the physical body, people from all over the world swarmed to Him, wherever He was. But when He has shed the mortal coil and is revelling in His original nature, even then devotees are rushing towards Him. If you ask the question why – even when He was in the physical body He always shared His love, showered his love on everybody and even now without the physical body He is doing the same thing showering His Love and Grace on devotees. Swami is the very embodiment of love; that is why devotees come to Him to share His love. The relationship that exists between God and devotees is one of pure, unsullied, sacred love. However powerful a magnet is, if the piece of iron is surrounded by rust and dust, it cannot be attracted by the magnet. For the iron piece to say that the magnet has no power is a folly. It should instead recognise its own rust and dust. Similarly, because of the evil qualities in us God is not attracting us. You are all asking for the Birthday message; if at all I have to give a message, there is only one message I can give you.  The best gift that you can give Me is to become Me. Everyone should get transformed into a Sai Baba. Every piece of iron already has magnetic power in it. When you get rid of attachment and ego, and put in your soul and heart into that effort and when you develop that kind of love, you also become Sai Baba. Truly when will Swami be happy? When everyone is happy, Swami is also happy. But where does the happiness lie? Is it there in this world? Is it in name and fame, treasures and wealth? Not at all! Happiness is in union with God. Only when we commune with the divinity within, we will know truly what happiness is. When you are divine you should behave in a divine way. Why are we not able to do that? It is because of our selfishness and self-interest we are not able to behave in a divine way. Where does selfishness come from? Because of lack of faith you develop all the negative qualities like fear. When you have complete faith that you are divine, you are an embodiment of love and atma, then there is no scope for any kind of fear. You have to value My word, listen to it, contemplate on it, practice it; then you and I will become one. I don't need any gift from you. I am there in everything. I don't consider others as others. If you put into practice whatever I tell you and become divine, become selfless and become pure and give that joy to everybody, as a father and mother, I will be very happy. Lot of youth, young men and women, and lot of devotees have come from many countries. Nobody knows whether you will get this opportunity once again. Therefore the opportunity given to you just now should be put to good use.  My grace and blessings are there on every one of you in abundance. You have to put this grace to good use. If anybody helps me, or if anybody tries to obstruct me, I am not going to stop My work. I will never stop loving anybody. Even when anybody ridicules Me or criticises Me, I will not give up My true nature of love and I will love them also. Therefore, you should recognise your true nature as love and live with love, deal with others with love and serve others. When all the youth come back next year for a similar meet, there should be great transformation in all of them. Will all of you come back next year? Come back as better persons. Then I will be happy.
