♥ Om Sri Sai Ram.

Swami está sentado con una túnica amarilla. Amarillo significa sabiduría o jnana. Tu puedes conquistar a una audiencia erudita. Puedes convertirte en un gran héroe que gana batallas o ser un emperador que gobierna un imperio. Puedes dar 1.000 vacas en caridad. Puedes contar todas las estrellas en el universo. Puedes nombrar a todas las especies del universo. Puedes dominar las escrituras. Puedes llegar a la Luna. Pero, ¿Puedes acaso controlar tu propia mente y los sentidos, y darte cuenta de tu divinidad y de tu pureza? Encarnaciones del amor, niños y niñas, el hombre de hoy ama todo tipo de educación y se encamina por el camino equivocado sufriendo dolor y tristeza a causa de la arrogancia.

¿Cuál es la causa de toda esta tragedia y sufrimiento?, ¿Porqué se produce toda esta tragedia y las guerras? Es por el egoísmo y el interés del hombre. Esta es la verdad que Swami nos está diciendo. ¿Por qué está el hombre haciendo cosas malas? Debido a la conciencia del cuerpo! La paz es una rareza, las armas son feroces y hay tanta falta de paz. Pero esta es la situación ahora, así que Baba tuvo que bajar a la humanidad para enseñarles las más altas verdades. Dios sin forma desciende como un hombre con forma y enseña al hombre. Es por ello que el Gurú es Shiva. Encarnaciones de la Divinidad, Dios se manifiesta para mostrarnos nuestra propia Divinidad. Dios es el mismísimo Guru. Posiblemente tu puedas estar enseñando estudios sociales o ciencia, pero eres sólo un maestro y no un gurú. El Gurú nos ayuda a deshacernos de la conciencia del cuerpo. La educación desarrolla la consciencia del cuerpo. La educación no nos ayuda a disminuir la conciencia del cuerpo.

Yo soy Yo. Si escribes en el pasaporte "Yo soy yo",¿Podrás ser capaz de viajar? Tu debes escribir tu nombre en el formulario. Las contradicciones entre la palabra y la acción no son buenas. Cuando tu lo experimentes no serás capaz de hablar. Es solo de la boca para afuera cuando no lo experimentas. Hasta que puedas contestar "yo soy yo" por experiencia verdadera, tu deberás dar tu nombre. Hay dos tipos de Maya. Uno es Vidya Maya y el otro es Avidya Maya. No se puede separar a Dios del mundo o al mundo de Dios. El mundo es Dios y la ilusión. La ilusión está en el mundo. Los ojos que están llenos de ilusión no pueden ver a Dios. Una persona con ictericia ve amarillo. Una mente llena de maya, ve maya. Una mente llena de devoción ve todo como Dios. Avidya es la educación mundana. Vidya enseña que dentro de la ilusión está Dios. Dios y el reflejo están juntos en un mismo lugar. Cuando el sol se mueve en el cielo, hay cambios en la sombra, pero el objeto no cambia. El objeto es permanente, pero la sombra cambia. Dios Eterno es el presente, pero maya sigue cambiando. Este cuerpo va cambiando año a año a partir del nacimiento. Se pasa de un niño a un joven, a un hombre y luego a un anciano. Este cuerpo cambia con el tiempo. No es permanente o verdad. Todas las acciones basadas en el cuerpo son temporales y por lo tanto, no son la verdad. La mente está llena de pensamientos. Es un instrumento. A veces está triste y a veces está feliz. La mente se mantiene cambiando, por lo tanto, no es verdad. Tu no eres una persona, sino tres personas.

El que tu piensas que eres: el nombre y la forma del cuerpo.

En segundo lugar, lo que otros piensan que eres: El mundo observa tu carácter. El mundo deduce tu carácter por tu comportamiento. Decide si eres una mala o una buena persona.

En tercer lugar: Lo que eres en última instancia, lo que es verdad, lo que es el principio átmico.

Un verdadero gurú te enseña acerca del atma. Aquel que te enseña información espiritual, es un gurú. Aférrate a los pies del Gurú. Él te ayudará a sobrellevar las dificultades y a cruzar el ciclo de nacimiento y muerte.

Por ejemplo: Tu estás estudiando diferentes asignaturas en la escuela. Pasarás los exámenes sólo si estudias bien. Debes estudiar bien todos los temas igualmente. Si tu no centras la mente en un tema, no pasarás. Si estudias matemáticas y ciencia, y no Inglés, puede que no pases Inglés. Debes saber dónde es el examen, cual es la materia, a qué hora es.

El mundo es como un examen. Has nacido en la escuela y sales de la escuela sólo cuando te mueres. Los deportes y los juegos son para el cuerpo. Para la mente tienes otros temas. Si fracasas en cualquier tema no recibirás un certificado. Del mismo modo es con el examen de la vida, debes estudiar el principio del atma. Si no pasas la clase vas a nacer y morir en varias ocasiones. Si quieres cruzar el samsara (el mundo) debe entender el atma. El amor es la teoría y el servicio es el examen práctico. Si no practicas, ¿cómo vas a pasar?

Todo lo que tiene que ver con el cuerpo se relaciona con el yo y lo mío. Ese es el principio egoísta. Debe estudiar al corazón que es Bhakti, a la cabeza que es Buddhi, y a la mano que es Shakti, y a la síntesis de los tres. Esto te llevará a la liberación. Tu necesitas la educación material, pero debes conocer el verdadero destino. Utiliza el cuerpo para ayudar a practicar el Dharma. Usa la mente para la sociedad. Tu tienes que servir a la sociedad. Tu estudias para ser médico. Sé un médico y hazlo bien. Si eres un maestro, trata bien a los estudiantes y diles la verdad. Transforma a lo material en espiritualidad. Se un médico por amor a Dios. Es erróneo pensar que la espiritualidad y el mundo son diferentes. El Atma se manifiesta como amor desinteresado. Cuando practiques verás como todos son uno. Se requiere el amor desinteresado para experimentar "yo soy yo". Dios desciende para ayudarles a cruzar el nacimiento y la muerte, el samsara. Enseñen la educación espiritual. Cuando practican amor, los estudiantes absorberán amor. No practiquen la hipocresía. Si los niños ven esto van a aprender lo mismo. Lo que está en el corazón debe surgir a través de los labios. Para que los niños sean correctos, tu debes controlar tu carácter. No debes juzgar a los niños. En primer lugar debes conocer acerca de sus padres y sus maestros. Los buenos padres y madres tendrán buenos hijos. Los buenos maestros crearán buenos estudiantes. Los padres y maestros conducen a los hijos rectamente.

Indulal Shah comenzó con Swami cuando tenía 45 años, ahora tiene 95. Pasó 50 años conmigo. Se puso a rodar la pelota. Debido a su duro trabajo la Organización prosperó. Indulal Shah practica lo que predica. Donde hay fe verdadera no hay miedo. Indulal Shah tiene una gran fe.

Swami continuó hablando sobre Indulal Shah y lo que dió al ashram. Swami mencionó que Indulal Shah entregaba todos sus bienes al ashram para que pudieran utilizarlos a su antojo. Todo lo que quería era una pequeña casa aquí en el ashram. Quería hacer esto el mismo para que la gente no lo entienda mal cuando el dejara esta tierra y sus hijos lo hicieran. Swami dijo que guardara algo para sí mismo, pero él dijo que no, mis hijos van a ser atendidos por Ti, ellos vendrán también. Swami dijo donde hay ausencia de miedo hay desinterés. ¿Por qué tenemos miedo del nacimiento y la muerte? Porque tenemos conciencia del cuerpo y de que soy la mente. Donde hay luz no hay oscuridad. Donde hay fe no hay miedo.

La madre tiene forma, pero el amor no tiene forma. Los libros tienen forma, pero el conocimiento no tiene forma. Los instrumentos tienen forma, pero la música no tiene forma. Los devotos tienen forma, pero la devoción no tiene forma. Indulal Shah está generando un ejemplo con una gran fe. La Conciencia Divina puede hacer este servicio.

La mente depende de la Luna, en el día de luna llena hay un reflejo. En el día de luna llena es cuando disminuye la conciencia del cuerpo en ustedes y desarrollan la conciencia divina. Doy Mi gracia y bendición sobre todos ustedes. Todos los estudiantes de los Vedas, deben propagar los Vedas por todo el mundo. Deben entender el significado sutil. Guru Purnima es para deshacerse de la oscuridad y el miedo. Conozcan el significado sutil de los Vedas. La sabiduría divina viene de la inspiración del yogui. No soy la mente. Tampoco soy la mente subconsciente, yo no soy la inteligencia o el intelecto. Y tampoco soy el ego. Yo no soy los cinco elementos: tierra, agua, fuego, aire o espacio. Yo no soy ninguna de estas cosas. Pero yo soy la encarnación de Shiva. Los Vedas declaran la verdad que la Madre es Dios, el Padre es Dios, el maestro es Dios y que el invitado es Dios. Los Vedas han declarado una y otra vez que estas son las verdades. Pero tienen buena suerte de que Dios se haya convertido en su madre, su padre, su maestro y también su huésped. De hecho en realidad yo no soy el invitado, usted son los invitados aquí. Los invitados vienen y van. Pero es el huésped quien se queda aquí permanentemente y de manera constante. En la palabra Jagath hay dos cosas Una es "ja" y la segunda es"gat". Jagath significa aquello que está entrando y saliendo. Ir y venir es ineludible en este mundo. De la misma manera como en una película las imágenes se mueven en la pantalla, la pantalla no se ve afectada ni cambia. Del mismo modo todas las cosas que suceden en el mundo no cambian a Dios. Adi Shankar declaró esta realidad fundamental de que la Verdad es Anandaswarupa. Nuestras escrituras declaran que sólo Dios es Satchitananda. Sat es lo que es verdad , para siempre permanente, que no cambia con el tiempo y es uno sin segundo. No hay ningún cambio en la Verdad. Este cuerpo, que sigue creciendo, y luego decrece y muere, no puede ser la verdad. La verdad no ha cambiado y es inmutable. Adi Shankara dijo: Este cuerpo siempre está cambiando con el tiempo y por lo tanto, yo no soy el cuerpo.

Chit es consciencia. Jnana o la consciencia de la sabiduría es la que remueve nuestro ego, que elimina la oscuridad de la ignorancia y enciende la llama del amor en nuestros corazones. Cuando dices la sabiduría o jnana, no es el conocimiento mundano o material. Eso es sólo un montón de información y no puede haber transformación. Cuando nos encontramos con los demás seguimos haciendo la pregunta: ¿Quién eres tu? Pero no nos hacemos en realidad la pregunta: ¿Quién soy yo? Cuando te haces a ti mismo la pregunta: ¿Quién soy yo?, entonces encuentras transformación. Cuando se hace la pregunta ¿quién eres tu?, eso no va a traer ningún cambio sagrado en ti. La verdadera sabiduría o jnana es aquella en la que no es necesario tener que aprender nada mas. Cuando conozcas tu verdadera realidad, entonces sabrás que el mundo entero es tu encarnación. Y ese tipo de información es jnana o sabiduría.

Sólo hay una verdad y se puede definir de muchas maneras. De hecho la verdad y la sabiduría o jnana son sinónimos. Decir que tengo un cuerpo y tengo una familia y todas estas posesiones mundanas, es un tipo de ignorancia. No puede ser la sabiduría. Miras la Tierra y ves que los ríos fluyen y toman caminos diferentes dependiendo de la situación. De igual manera que Dios mismo se convierte en el jiva atma dependiendo del lugar. Si pones agua del río en algo toma la forma de la vasija. En realidad, toma la forma del recipiente. Pero su verdadera naturaleza no es el recipiente. También es el río. También es un miembro debido a que está separado del río. Cuando selo pone en la vasija y toma la forma del recipiente. Cuando Dios se manifiesta como todos los jiva atmas, el alma dependiendo de las diferentes situaciones, se comporta de manera diferente y también ve diferencias entre las personas. Si basamos nuestra vida en el recipiente o el cuerpo no podremos entender la verdad. Sólo podremos saciar la sed cuando basemos nuestras vidas en el agua dulce y pura en el recipiente.

Cuando haces la pregunta, ¿Quién soy yo?, la respuesta es que no soy el cuerpo. Yo no soy la mente, yo soy el Atma. El cuerpo con los diez sentidos sigue cambiando todo el tiempo; por lo tanto no puede ser la verdad. Adi Shankara dijo que yo no soy ninguno de estos sentidos, ni la mente ni la mente consciente, ni el intelecto ni el ego. Mi verdadera naturaleza es Sat Chit Ananda. También enseñó que nuestra verdadera naturaleza es Sat Chit Ananda. Sat es la verdad inmutable. Chit es conciencia o sabiduría. Aunque el atma toma diferentes nombres y diferentes formas, si se toma en su forma sutil te das cuenta de que todo es lo mismo. Esa sabiduría es chit. Sólo cuando alcancemos chit y sat, encontraremos la verdadera felicidad que nos rodea. Es que todo el mundo está luchando por apegos y placeres del mundo, pero nadie está luchando por hacer un esfuerzo para darse cuenta de la verdad. Cuando quieras conseguir la felicidad con este cuerpo temporal y este "yo", sólo te dará un placer temporal. No puede ser la felicidad permanente.

Cuando se siente hambre y se come comida que te dan alegría sólo temporal. Pero después de un tiempo aparece el hambre. Una vez más usted va a través de la queja. Una vez que usted come y obtener satisfacción. Sigue haciendo esto una y otra vez y obtener satisfacción temporal de hambre. Esta no es la felicidad permanente. Cuando usted depende el cuerpo obtiene único placer temporal y la felicidad no siempre permanente. Pero se declara que Dios es la encarnación de la Bienaventuranza. Ananda es la que es toda pura, siempre sabio, siempre dichoso. El hambre y la satisfacción de los alimentos y otra vez es temporal, y los placeres que obtenemos de la mente, la felicidad y la tristeza también es temporal. Si alguien te alaba, te emocionas. Y cuando alguien te criticas, que desesperación. Este es también el comportamiento temporal. Ser feliz cuando alguien te adora o cuando alguien te culpa, te sientes triste. Esto también es una cosa temporal. No es una alegría permanente. ¿Cuál es temporal no puede ser Dios. Ego que está lleno de los míos y yo siempre está teniendo deseos mundanos. Cuando usted está en sólo estos deseos mundanos obtendrá única felicidad temporal y no la felicidad permanente. Todas las cosas de las experiencias del cuerpo y la mente son temporales y por lo tanto, no pueden ser eternos. Cuando las personas hacen esta pregunta: Usted sabe que yo no soy esto, yo no soy esto, entonces lo que son realmente. Yo soy el Sat Chit Swarupa Aananda. Usted quiere alcanzar la bienaventuranza entonces primero debe obtener sabiduría. Al ver la unidad en la multiplicidad que es la sabiduría. Todo depende de la esencia interior. Esencia interior es lo que fluye iguales en todo el mundo. Es por eso que yo siempre estoy enseñando, "Todos son uno sea igual a todo el mundo". Es la misma verdad que pertenece a cada escritura. Incluso en otras religiones es la misma verdad. Sólo hay una verdad y estudiosos describen de manera diferente.

En la palabra Gurupurnama gu significa oscuridad o ignorancia. Gurú es aquel que elimina la oscuridad o ignorancia. Al quitar esta oscuridad por la iluminación de la lámpara del amor que día es cierto Gurupurnama. Y la luna brilla con todos los dieciséis cualidades en un día de luna llena. La mente sigue a la luna. El ojo proviene del Sol Hay una relación profunda entre la luna y la mente. Existe una relación entre el sol y el ojo. Pero estos ojos no son ojos físicos. Estos son los ojos de la sabiduría o los ojos espirituales. Los ojos son iguales a atma. El dios del sol ama a todos y mantiene brillando en todo el mundo. Él se está derritiendo día a día, pero está dando alegría y la luz y la comida para todos. Debido a que el desinterés es verdadera divinidad, por tanto, el mismo sol se puede comparar con el atma. La mente es otra palabra para la luna.

Este cuerpo que se compone de los elementos, que lleva la tierra. El cuerpo lleva el principio de luz. La relación entre el sol, la luna y la tierra es la misma relación que el cuerpo, la mente y Atma. Debido a que el sol brilla la luna también brilla. La luna está siempre lleno de oscuridad. Cuando se reduce el cuerpo y la conciencia de la mente va hacia Dios, que se convierte en día de luna llena. Entre el atma y la mente viene la conciencia del cuerpo que es un día de Luna nueva. ♥ Om Sri Sai Ram. Swami is seated in a yellow robe. Yellow means wisdom or jnana. You can conquer an audience with scholarship. You can become a great hero who wins battles or be an emperor who rules an empire. You can give 1000 cows in charity. You can count all the stars in the universe. You can name all species in the universe. You can master scriptures. You can reach the Moon. But can you control your own mind and senses and realize your divinity and realize your purity. Embodiments of love, boys and girls today man loves all kinds of education and gets into the wrong path and suffers grief and sorrow because of arrogance. What is responsible for all this tragedy and sufferings, what causes all tragedy and wars? It is because of man's selfishness and self interest. This is the truth that Swami is telling us. Why is man doing bad things? Because of body consciousness! Peace is rare, weapons are fierce and there is so much lack of peace. But this is the situation now, so Baba has to come down to mankind to teach him the highest truths. Formless God comes down as man with form and teaches man. That is why the Guru is Shiva. Embodiments of Divinity, God manifests to show us our own Divinity. God is the Guru himself. You may be teaching Social studies or Science, but you are only a teacher and not a Guru. The Guru helps us get rid of body consciousness. Education develops body consciousness. Education does not help us diminish body consciousness.

I am I. If you write on passport "I am I" will you be able to travel? You must write your form's name. Contradictions between word and action are not good. When you experience it you will not be able to speak. It is lip service when you do not experience it. Until you can answer I am I through experience truly you must give your name. There are two types of Maya. One is Vidya Maya and the other is Avidya Maya. You cannot separate God from the world or the World from God. The world is God and illusion. Illusion is in the world. Eyes that are filled with illusion cannot see God. A person with jaundice sees yellow. A mind filled with maya sees maya. A mind filled with devotion sees everything as God. Aviday is worldly education. Vidya teaches that within illusion is God. God and reflection are together in one place. When the sun moves in the sky, its shadow changes, but the object does not change. The object is permanent, but the shadow changes. Eternal god is present, but maya keeps changing. This body keeps changing from year to year from birth. You go from a child, to a boy, to man and then to an old man. This body changes with time. It is not permanent or truth. All actions based on the body are temporary and, therefore, not truth. The Mind is full of thoughts. It is an instrument. Sometimes it is sad and sometimes it is happy. The mind keeps changing therefore, it is not truth. You are not one person but three persons. One, the one you think you are - the body name and form. Second, what others think you are. The world looks at you character. The world decides your character from your behavior. It decides if you are bad or if you are a good person. Third, what you are ultimately, which is truth, which is atmic principle. A true guru teaches you about the atma. The one who teachers you spiritual information, is a guru. Hold the feet of the Guru. He will help you cross over difficulties and to cross over the cycle of birth and death. For example: You are studying different subjects in school. You will pass the examines only if you study well. You must study all subjects equally well. If you do not focus the mind on a subject you will not pass. If you study math and science and not English you might not pass English. You must know where is the exam, which subject is it, what time is it. The world is like an examination. You are born into school and you leave school only when you die. Sports and games are for the body. For the mind you have other subjects. If you fail any subject you will not get a certificate. Similarly with the examination of life, you must study the atma principle. If you do not pass the class you will be born and die repeatedly. If you want to cross over samsara (world) you must understand the atma. Love is the theory and service is the practical examination. If you do not practice how will you pass? All that has to do with the body is related to I and mine. That is the selfish principle. You must study the heart (bhakti), the head which is Buddhi, and the hand which is Shakti and synthesis the three. This will lead you to liberation. You need material education, but you should know the real destination. Use the body for helping to practice dharma. Use the mind for society. You have to serve society. You study to be a doctor. Be a doctor and do it well. If you are a teacher treat students well, and tell them the truth of their subjects. Transform the material into spirituality. Do being a doctor for love of God. It is wrong to think that spirituality and the world are different. Atma manifests as selfless love. When you practice you see it as all are one. Selfless love is required to experience I am I. God comes down to help you cross over birth and death, samsara. Teach spiritual education. When you practice love the students will absorb love. Don't practice hypocrisy. If children see this they will learn the same. What is in the heart should come through the lips. For children to be right you must check your character. You should not judge children. First you must know about their parents and their teachers. Good Dads and mothers and will have good children. Good teachers will create good students. Parents and teachers set the children straight. Indulal Shah started with Swami when he was 45 years old, now he is 95. He spent 50 years with me. He set the ball rolling. Because of his hard work the organization prospered. All he wanted was a small house here in the ashram. He wanted to do this himself so people won't misunderstand it when he left the earth and his children did it. Swami said to keep something for himself but he said no, my children will be taken care of by you, they will come too. Swami said where there is fearlessness there is selflessness. Why are we afraid of birth and death? Because we have body consciousness and I am the mind. Where there is light there is no darkness. Where there is faith there is no fear.

Mother has form, but love has no form. Books have form, but knowledge has no form. Instruments have form, but music has no form. Devotee has form, but devotion has not form. Indulal Shah is leading an example with great faith. Divine consciousness can do this service. Mind depends on the Moon on full Moon day there is a reflection. Full moon day is when you diminish body consciousness and develop divine consciousness. I give my grace and blessing on all of you. . To all Veda students you should propagate the vedas throughout the whole world. You should understand the subtle meaning. Guru Purnima is to getting rid of darkness and fear. Know the subtle meaning of the Vedas. Divine wisdom comes from yogi's inspiration. I have students that is why I can do all this with faith and courage. All my students be ithey in Alika, Muddenahalli, Prashanti, etc should look after these things.

♥ Om Sri Sai Ram. Swami is seated in a bright orange robe.

I am not mind. I am neither the subconscious mine, I am not the intelligence or the intellect. And I am also not the ego. I am not the five elements: earth, water, fire, air or space. I am not any of these things. But I am the very embodiment of Shiva. Vedas declare the Truth that Mother is God, Father is God, teacher is God and that the guest is God. The Vedaa have stated this again and again that these are the truths. But it is your good fortunate that God Himself has become your mother, your father, your teacher and also your guest. In fact actually I am not the guest, you are the guest here. Guest comes and goes. But it is the host that stays here permanently and steadily. In the word Jagath there are two things One is ja and the second is gat. Jagath means that which is Coming and going. Coming and going is inescapable in this world. In the same way as in a movie pictures move on the screen, the screen is not affected or changing. Similarly all things that happen in the world do not change God. Adi Shankar declared this fundamental reality Truth is Anandaswarupa. Our scriptures declare that God alone is Satchitananda. Sat is that which is truth and ever permanent and over time there is no change and is one without a second. There is no change in the Truth. This body which keeps growing, then diminishes and then dies, cannot be the truth. Truth has not changed and is changeless. Adi Shankara is saying this body is ever changing over time and therefore, I am not the body.

Chit is awareness. Jnana or awareness of wisdom is that which removes our ego, it removes the darkness of ignorance and lights the flame of love in our hearts. When you say wisdom or jnana it is not the worldly or material knowledge. That is only a lot of information and cannot be transformation. When we meet others we keep asking the question, Who are you? But we donÕt actually ask the question, Who am I. When you ask yourself the question, Who am I. then you find transformation. When you ask the question who are you, it is not going to bring any sacred change in you. True wisdom or jnana is that which you need not have to learn anything else. When you know your true reality then you will know that the whole world is your embodiment. And that kind of information is jnana or wisdom.

There is only one truth and can be defined in many ways. In fact truth and wisdom or jnana are synonyms. To say I have a body and I have a family and all these worldly positions, is kind of ignorance. It cannot be wisdom. You look at the earth and you see that rivers flow and take different paths depending on the situation. Similarly God Himself becomes the jiva atma depending on the place. If you put river water in something it takes on the form of the vessel. Actually it takes on the form of the vessel. But its true nature is not the vessel. It is also a river. It is also a limb. Because it is away from the river, when it gets into the vessel, it takes the form of a vessel. When God manifests Himself as all the jiva atmas, the soul depending on the different situations, he behaves differently he also sees differences among people. If we base our lives on the vessel or the body we cannot understand truth. We can only quench the thirst when we base our lives on the pure sweet water in the vessel.

When you ask a question, Who am I, the answer is I am not the body. I am not the mind, I am the Atma. The body with the ten senses keeps changing all the time; therefore it cannot be the truth. Adi Shankara said I am none of these senses, neither mind nor the conscious mind nor the intellect nor the ego. My truth nature is Sat Chit Ananda. He also taught one's true nature is Sat Chit Ananada. Sat is that changeless truth. Chit is awareness or wisdom. Though the atma takes different names and different forms, if you take it in its subtle way you realize that it is all the same. That wisdom is chit. Only when we attain chit and sat you find true bliss around us. It is that everyone is struggling for attachment and worldly pleasures, but no one is struggling to put in effort to realize the truth. When you want to realize joy with this temporary body and this "I" you only get what is a temporary pleasure. It cannot be permanent bliss.

When you feel hungry and you eat food you get only temporary joy. But then after some time the hunger appears. Again you go through the grievance. Again you eat and get satisfaction. You keep doing this again and again and get temporary satisfaction from hunger. This is not permanent happiness. When you depend on the body you get only temporary pleasure and not ever permanent bliss. But it is declared that God is the embodiment of Bliss. Ananda is that which is every pure, ever wise, ever blissful. Hunger and satisfaction from food again and again is temporary, and the pleasures we get from the mind, happiness and sadness is also temporary. If someone praises you, you get excited. And when someone criticisms you, you despair. This is also temporary behavior. Being happy when someone adores you or when someone blames you, you feel sad. This is also a temporary thing. It is not a permanent joy. What is temporary cannot be God. Ego which is full of mine and I is always having worldly desires. When you are into only these worldly desires you will get only temporary happiness and not permanent bliss. All things of the body and mind experiences are temporary and therefore, cannot be eternal. When people ask this question: You know I am not this, I am not this, then what are you really. I am the Sat Chit Swarupa Aananda. You want to attain bliss then first you should get wisdom. Seeing unity in multiplicity that is wisdom. Everything depends on the inner essence. Inner essence is what flows equal in everyone. That is why I am always teaching you, "All are one be alike to everyone". It is the same truth that belongs to every scripture. Even in other religions it is the same truth. There is only one truth and scholars describe it differently.

In the word Gurupurnama gu means darkness or ignorance. Guru is one who removes darkness or ignorance. When you remove this darkness by lighting the lamp of love that day is true Gurupurnama. And the moon shines with all sixteen qualities on a full moon day. The mind follows the moon. The eye comes from the Sun. There is a deep relationship between the moon and the mind. There is a relationship between the sun and the eye. But these eyes are not physical eyes. These are the wisdom eyes or the spiritual eyes. The eyes are equal to atma. The sun god loves everybody and keeps shining on everybody. He is melting away day by day but is giving joy and light and food to everyone. Because selflessness is true divinity therefore the sun itself can be compared to the atma. Mind is another word for the moon.

This body which is made up of the elements, it bears the earth. The body bears the light principle. The relationship between the sun, moon and earth is the same relationship as the body, mind and atma. Because the sun shines the moon also shines. The moon is always full of darkness. The moon shines because it accepts the sunshine. The moon is also related to the earth. The moon keeps going around the earth. Therefore, there is a deep relationship between the mind and the body. They recognize the mind body relationship, but you donÕt recognize the atma relationship. When you reduce the body and the mind awareness goes towards God that becomes full moon day. Between the atma and the mind comes the body consciousness that is a New moon day. On Guru Purnama you have to understand the inner significance of this festival and practice it. The mind is responsible for bondage and liberation. When you put the mind towards the atma it shines with brilliance. When body consciousness comes between atma it is darkness. My real nature is satchitananda. When we come here on Guruponoma day we do bhajans. And eat well and dance. When you put my teachings into practice then it is Guru Poorima. In order to get rid of body consciousness service is very important. Serve everyone and then your ego will go. Only when we lose body consciousness will our mind shine with the atma. If you want to pass over the cycle of birth and death we do not merely do penance, or merely do study of scriptures. We must do seva. Then we can you cross over this ocean of samaras. You have to give up the ignorance of selfishness of mine and I and know that it is the atma. You pick up the journey of I to We and We to He. This is the divine path of Truth.
